What scares me here is the Refs have been on Texas's side all year. Saturday down by 13 at half to K-State, they shoot 28 free throws from the line to 0 (ZERO) for the Wildcats. 3rd or 4th time this has happened for Texas this year. Shenanigans usually happen @home though. GL. I'll be rooting for you.

He was brought in to recruit and he laid a good foundation but could never take them to the next level. He did a fine job with conf wins and some ncaa tourney wins but because of his slow pace, it hurt Unlv imo.. Rice took his recruits and put them in the top 15 in the country year one. Wait until Rice gets his recruits. Next year UNLV will be much better. But you are right. He gets credit for that

Never said he was a bad coach. I said I personally am not a fan of him because of the way he handled plenty of games season in and out with Unlv. I am a season ticket holder and his offensive game plan with slow pace did not work in Unlv. His players respected him but knew he could not take them to the next level. He is a good recruiter to lay a foundation for teams who need it. That is what Unlv needed at the time and that is what Oklahoma needs now.

BTW, its the players that play this game of basketball not the coaches. So the Unlv players stepped up and made BIG shots when needed and were clutch when they made those out of no where runs in conf and in the tourney. Kruger's game plan and style of coaching never changed.

Which Oklahoma team will we get tonight though? The team that stuck with Mizzou or the team that got run by an awful Texas Tech team, and I mean awful. There isn't a big home court advantage with Oklahoma, they don't draw well, and I don't see them putting up a great effort. If they do for some reason, then the line is spot on, if they don't Texas wins by 10+. Generally I would agree and say Texas is square tonight in this spot, but how can you back Oklahoma honestly? 3-9 in a top heavy big 12 is not something I want my money on, just my 2 cents.
