Strong Lean on Cleveland State -7 at home vs. Butler Saturday

I really can't believe this line, as it's basically calling these teams a pick on a neutral court.

I think there's a lot of value in Cleveland State here, coming off a blowout loss a few days ago to Valpo. Butler beat Cleveland State earlier in the year but outside of their win at Stanford, Butler has been pretty much horrific on the road this season.

Cleveland State is the far superior offensive team here (although they didn't look it the other night). If the 3 is falling for them, it will be a long night for Butler.

Don't see this team getting beaten at home again against a team much worse than Valpo.

Not with these teams. Both have thrown up some stinkers on the offensive end this year. Cleveland State is dreadful when the outside shot isn't falling. Both teams will be slowing this one down and I could very well see a 63-49 or 57-45 type final score out of this one. I think the under is the play.

but Cleveland St. doesn't play slow basketball they like to play fast and will put Butler at the free-throw line a lot. If Butler converts on free throws this game goes over 120

Sorry, I have been on a bad run lately with my own games so I probably won't even play this and strictly rely on the Lang fade today...in which case Cleveland State is almost guaranteed to cover

CSU unequivocally will not slow this one down. they love to pressure the ball and try to get out in transition, particularly against a slow-footed team like Butler. Butler will want to slow it down, CSU will want to speed it up. lean over but hate playing over in these 11 am games as it seems that one or both teams can start slow shooting-wise because of the early tip.

i'm on CSU 1H -3. CSU missed 9 lay-ups in the 1H against Valpo, and Waters has mentioned it so many times that i'm surprised that there isn't a billboard outside the stadium reminding the players about their 1H failings against Valpo when they arrive. Butler has been a dumpster fire 1H this season and is coming off a good 1H in Youngstown Thursday, while CSU is off their worst 1H of the season. a pendulum always swings back...

NO - because the potential for Butler to have a big lead at the half is big - because of the 11AM start - so if that happens you could potentially be getting CSU+ for the game at -110 and then the Vikings wake up in the 2H. Happens all the time for early starts - these kids never get up before the crack of noon.

Of course, the potential is there to completely miss the bet. That is what being a VALUE BETTOR is all about. If you want to get good value you have to get your #.
