I was killing it before making my own thread. Now in 3 days Im 15-14 +2.6 units(260) Might bury my fukn thread myself if It dont change.

Hey guys,

I'm fairly new at this and am still trying to learn the system. Mainly the control on not playing to many games. I am normally horrible on Saturdays and give all of my profits back. However, today I actually made a profit. It feels pretty good. I'm sure I'm a small player compared to all of you pros but I am trying to build a bank and stay disciplined. There are so many games on Saturdays and so many cappers that it hard to find the ones to follow. Do any of you have any advice on how you control your plays on days that have so many and on which types of plays to go with? After sitting back and being a student and watching you all for a while I see that there is a way to make a profit doing this. Any advice wpuld be greatly appreciated.

That was my problem, I played to many games today. Bow on the other hand played more then me and killed it. You just gotta research and find people on here to help decide picks. ultimatley you need to be picking your own games. But advice does not hurt.

the secret is playing what you know...most of my pics consisted of PAC-12, MWC, and WAC. also good to keep track of the teams that are hot at the moment and knowing when to tail them. i'm a big 'momentum' guy and usually ride teams until they fizzle out. my card was fairly sizable today but probably no more than 15% than total games for the day. pick your battles bro.

I do pick some of them.However, I get caught up in it because I normally like so many

. I liked Syracuse this morning and they cashed well but then Marquette got me good. I took them for the game and they are the best team in NCAA in the 2nd half but not today so I went on a down spiral. Then NC got me. I found a few plays in NBA tonight and loved Washington but I waited until the 2nd half because I wanted to watch the the 1st half to see how it would go. And then I found this thread and decided to cash big on it and it turned my day around. All of your guys knowledge on here is awesome. You all have no idea how much the new fellas like myself appreciate all of your incite. You all are awesome.

Thanks for the input. I"m trying LOL. It's still a learning process but I'm feeling better about it. I am going to keep an eye out for yours and bkeith12 threads from now on.

If you all don't mind me asking, how much is a unit and how do you decide on how many units you will play on a game. Also, do you do any teasers or parlays or is it best to stay away from those? What are your thoughts on the big game tomorrow?

A unit is however much do you want it to be. I do $100, some people do alot more, some less.
