Missouri at Baylor, two teams that to the naked eye have been as impressive as any team in the country this year save for one road hick-up by each. Missouri or pass only because they are +4.5 in what could be an instant classic, but not sure if Mizzou will make my cut as an official play. This is the first game all year that I would watch even with no money on it.

#3wow you like Missouri?? I personally think Murray St would beat Missouri if that match ever occurred in the NCAA tourney I was leaning Baylor all the way in this one! Wow I might lay off this one just because you have it listed as a game of the year play! Shittttts lolComment -

#4I'm on the sidelines too, but I'll watch.
Baylor coming off a beatdown at Kansas, but they match up much better with Mizzou anyway. Should be a pretty good game, but not sure how you can get comfortable one way or another on the side. I think Baylor's the better team, but will they be on this day?Comment -

#8COU, you are underestimating Missouri, I think you might see both of these teams in the Elite Eight. Mizzou just doesn't miss shots and they don't turn the ball over. This line suggests that books rate Mizz slightly better, as they would be -5.5 at home. No Con, if by matching up better you mean these teams are about equal, then yeah.Comment -

#10Missouri vs. Baylor really? I thought you were going to say Maryland vs. Temple. It's always the first game on that is considered the game of the year, for me.Comment -

#14If Missouri didn't get raped at K-State, they'd be getting way more respect. Missouri's good. Will definitely watch this game regardless of whether or not I bet.Comment -

#17There have been many big time matchups this year that have failed to live up to their rankings. Hopefully this game will be one of them. A little bit iffy for Missouri though, they are so guard oriented.Comment -

#18That may have been a "good" loss as they were probably overconfident going in. Pomeroy has Missouri seventh in the country and Baylor ninth. Missouri grades out better offensively, in fact one of the best in the country as they rank second in efficiency, third in effective field goal percentage and second in turnover percentage. They are hitting on 57.1% of their two-point attempts (2nd). Baylor grades out better defensively, ranking 14th in efficiency, 25th in eFG% allowed and 35th in forcing turnovers. Key to the game though is they rank 12th in two-point defense at 41.4%, so who ever wins that two-point battle probably wins. Also, neither team is bad on the other side of the ball. Pomeroy has Baylor by 3.Comment -

#20Difference is these teams are often underrated on a national scale and other big matchups have involved over-hyped teams.Comment -

#23I don't know about this...whether a team is overrated or underrated on the national stage. Both top rated teams and supposedly underrated teams just have inexplicable wins or loses during the season.Comment -

#24Don't ya think Baylor defence and rebounding will be a huge advantage? after all wasn't that one of the main reason's they lost so bad to Kansas, they got killed on the bds.Same thing could happen here with Bayor doing it to Mizzu?Comment -

#25In College basketball, I don't care how hot or how highly rank the other team is when playing the road. Home teams in College always has significant edges over the other teams. I wouldn't touch such a high profile game though, but Baylor would be my play of because of the home factor.Comment -

#26Rebounding should be a wash. Mizzou is neutral on both ends, Baylor is a good offensive rebounding team but a poor defensive rebounding team (no idea why that happens but difference in the numbers is drastic). So both teams should be fairly equal in second chances.Comment -

#30With so many college teams it is hard to generalize how many points home court accounts for. You see it every day when you watch college basketball. Too many teams, too many different coaching styles, too many fixes.Comment -

#34Anything -6 or less, I would take the home team, since it's only requires two possession to cover. Again, I don't really bet high profile school when it comes to College. I stick to the MAC, MAAC, Sun Belt, or A10. The lines are starting to get very sharp in the Missouri Valley now.Comment -

I wouldn't touch such a high profile game though, but Baylor would be my play of because of the home factor.Size and athleticism will be an issue for a Missouri team that is guard oriented(see KSU vs Missouri game) The matchups in this game will be most intriguing!!! and may not come to bear, as both will at some point play zone...if not the entire game(Missouri). But as stated by frostno98 this time of the year...Home court is everything!! Baylor wins and covers!! GL to everyone.
