No hurt feelings, yes I am a Braves fan and I always will be but I would be lying if I did not admit they were pretenders/posers and they have been ever since Turner sold the franchise to Liberty Media. Turner would reach into his pocket and get an impact bat or pitcher to get over the hump to be a real contender. The Braves only won 1 championship during that amazing run but they were always knocking on the door during the good years. Probably won't ever see them being a true contender again, but I have been a fan over 30 yrs now and they are on TV every nite regional/locally and I root for them to win. But things are diferent when you go from a billionaire owner to "corporate america" owning the team.


Congrats to your Cardinals, no salt for me bro. They made me some good money down the stretch and during the playoffs and I had a monetary interest and a fan interest in them. I always like them and Larussa and I could feel and see that momentum down the stretch. Once they beat Philly I was pretty much positive they would win it all. I was a SDS collapse and a CSB fluke ATS loss away from being in the black for the day. I'd play that card again if I could -- I don't list plays just for the sake of action. I liked every side I placed a wager on. You don't see a team blow a 17-point lead on its home court or not cover in double overtime very often.

Well in retrospect it was obviously a bad decision, but there were only two or maybe three of those games I would've dropped had I had it to do over again -- and one was a winner.
