Read on this forum that WVU's plane hit a bird and got in at 3am, was tweeted as such anyway. That can't be a good lead in to a game and given the game is at a neutral court that is only a short trip for Kansas State. Assuming the bird story is true (naive of me perhaps, who knows), and the short trip should mean plenty of support for Kansas State, it gives them the edge.

There's a difference between not going to bed at home vs having to sit around on a plane or in an airport. If you've ever been in that situation it is draining, you can only think of getting to bed. I reckon it'll be a factor.

Holt, what are your thoughts on Western Michigan +5?

Detroit's 4th game in 8 days and they are not a deep team. Western Michigan has had a pretty hard schedule which is reflected in their results, but Detroit's results aren't much better in a much softer schedule.

EDIT - Didn't go there in the end.... not enough confidence and the early score is having me feeling good about staying away. Fatigue may set in late but whatever, no harm done if Detroit spanmks them.
