secret out on vcu, everyone seems to love them...popular short road dogs freak me out, still thinking bout it..i could def pass on Bruins and switch to the over in that gm..leaning Ill st as well

leaning hard on that over. among many other reasons, these teams have such a high-scoring history against one another. of their last 10 meetings, only one has finished under 129 (68-57 UCLA last January), and those games haven't even had great pace to them. my big concern is that neither team gives many FTs.

relied on covers. bah. VCU has forced 11 turnovers in the 1H, so that wasn't wrong. difference right now is tight, VCU 2-10 from deep Akron 4-10, 4 point margin at half. VCU needs to draw more fouls and make their FTs.

well, they shoot them well (73.7%) but they don't draw enough fouls. 6-11 FTs and 2-10 3s were their numbers 1H, they should improve upon that. they can draw fouls on Akron's bigs, Akron gives away dumb fouls. they have to exploit that 2H.

start is key. they forced 11 turnovers. Akron's PG is back from injury, he'll wear down. they know what they need to do, they just need to make shots. they need out-physical the bigger, stiffer team and make their FTs.
