Missou/ODU and St Bon/Niagara each have a red flag. ODU can't shoot the 3 while Niagara's A/TO ratio is really low. also, ODU's pace is much slower than Missou's (70.6 vs 65.1), so not sure that they'll try to match Missou's pace. knowing Blaine Taylor, i'm not sure that he'll try to match them.

i'll admit that i don't know much about Oral Roberts/S Dakota, and it's worth noting that the spread is at the outside of the proper range for a keep-up game (4-10 points for the home dog) at +10'. will keep an eye on that one over the course of the day.

Temple/Delaware passes all filters, taking a closer look at that now.

yes, Temple/Delaware passes all requirements for a keep up game. glad that my instincts were correct that the line would rise (now 140).

Oral Roberts/S Dakota may be, but technically, the spread has to be within 4-10 and right now that one's +10'. the other two (Missou/ODU, St. Bon/Niagara) each had at least one red flag (ODU's 3-point shooting not good enough; also ODU's pace much slower than Missou's; Niagara's A/TO ratio).

CMU is getting attractive to me as well, would love to get a few more points as fading Puke isnt exactly a fun thing to do..cmu has played a extremely challenging road schedule so tend to think they wont be intimidated here, they been playing well as of late and think they tough enough to bang with Puke's softies down low..

i think that he'll play but it sounds as if this is going to be an ongoing problem all season. says he's a game-time decision, but hard to imagine him sitting out in a game at Cameron. they only have one game in the next 8 days, and it's also non-conference (start conf play with Ball State next Saturday). my gut says that he'll play, but no way to know much better right now. also, it's the kind of injury where he could take a bad spill and be done for the game even if he's fine at the start. i cap this game as Duke, 84-67, assuming Douglas plays and doesn't leave with injury.

lost by the hook on the UR 1H total (when the game stayed under by a half-dozen) and then those Appalachian sister fkrs scored 8 and fouled UM twice in the final two minutes of a 30-point game. thought for sure that a 9-point cushion for the final two minutes would be enough but guess not. bah, on to the next.

a night of poor judgment all around, as the other three potential keep-up games finished over. for the record, Oral Roberts/S Dakota was the only keep-up game besides Temple/Delaware to meet all parameters, so for the week, keep-up games have gone 4-1 (1-0 Wednesday, 2-0 Thursday, 1-1 Friday; Temple/Delaware the sole loser).

i have that game at UK, 73-60/74-59. i think that if you like over, Kentucky TT over 73 might be better option. i think that Kentucky might keep to 60, which makes the over a little risky. i don't have a lot of confidence in UL's offense, at least not today. BOL whatever you decide. i may consider UK minus the points. Calipari might relish the opportunity to be a prick and ruin Pitino's New Years Eve.
