SLU/UMass over is a keep-up game. as noted above, keep-up games are cold this week (1-5).

there are a ton of 4-10 point home dogs (i looked at 16). of those, most had red flags. other than SLU/UMass, other potential keep-up games are:
Kansas/Iowa State over 141'
S Dakota St/IPFW over 154'
Xavier/Charlotte over 135
Kent State/Toledo over 141
UCSB/Pacific over 129'
Nevada/Louisiana Tech over 136

Kent State and UCSB games likely will be red flagged in anticipation of too much zone defense being played.

Biff, Do you ever side with an under if you saw a Keep up game that had so many red flags that you go "hmmm this one is going under" or is the KEEP UP factor too much of a lean on the over side of things. not a silly question at all. in fact, there is an example of that today, and Wofford/Citadel was an example earlier this week. today, the Bowling Green/Eastern Michigan under is on my list of leans even though EMU is a 4' dog. EMU is all red flags. i probably wouldn't have given that game a second look normally. it's a really low number, though, 114.

yes, i'm a little surprised to see the total rise, but you have to figure that it's the early game and people are just naturally more likely to play the over in that game (regardless of what the alleged percentages say).

i can say that i was leaning under and have already crossed that lean off of my list. i think that Baylor may roll UT. J'Covan Brown might miss 20 shots against that zone. i think that if you like Baylor and over, i'd probably go with Baylor. UT has trouble scoring and unlike a game like K State when UT played up and down, the pace may be slower because of the zone.
