I don't think it's going to happen though. Doubtful he is going to be for the remainder of the game and even if he was, still need a foul to help or something. Very doubtful UK is taking any jumpers unless it's at the end of the shot clock. Still cannot believe he missed three FTs.

Looks like my gut play on the threes isn't going to work out either. Getting looks, but lots of rim outs. Need one of those stretches where the go back and forth with a bunch of makes in a row ... but looking rather iffy. KU doing a good job of controlling tempo and UNC not really pushing the issue right now.

This could be over quick with the way they shot the ball in the 1st half, but the # of possessions was grossly small compared to the point output and the 2nd half line is much larger than the expected # of possessions. Might get destroyed, but it's a play.

Not that Maryland doesn't have the talent to pull this off alone, but this is also a play against history. Only once since 1982 have all four #1 seeds made the women's Final Four. Maybe they're over due, maybe there's always supposed to be one party crasher. The Lady Terps are the only one left to break up the chalk. It's height vs. speed/quickness. Maryland starts a lot of six footers and taller, while Notre Dame goes with the four guard look and do not have a starter over 5'11". I think the Terps size has the potential to wear down Notre Dame if they can defend well.
