agreed!! I think that Duke blows them out. Williams can not stay out of foul trouble and Zona does not have the guards to play with Irvin or Smith.

Oregon St beat Arizona in early January in the first weekend of Pac-10 play. I will agree Arizona is not that great in late game situations. Losing to UW twice in the last few minutes. Almost choking against both Memphis and Texas.

Duke has way more experience, but Arizona will have way more home court support. All the ESPN type experts think that Duke is just going to be too much for Arizona and I think I agree. Arizona doesn't play enough quality D to stop Duke.

That line is as crazy IMO. Did anybody see the 2nd half of Duke/Michigan? Duke won't play if they get a decent lead. They just go chicken and eat clock. Arizona plus those generous points all day.

I think Duke SHALACKS the Wildcats by at least 7-10 points. I'm not going to bet the spread, but I'm going to bet big on the ML for Duke. Zona's guards are completely outmatched by Nolan Smith and Kyrie Irving. Momo Jones and Kyle Fogg are so inconsistent. I've seen Zona a million times this year because I'm a huge Washington fan. They're overrated after beating up on a weak Pac-10. Derrick Williams is really good, but he'll have his hands full with the Plumlee brothers and Singler.

But how many times have they been blown out? This is the point. Yes, Duke is good, but are they a blow-you-out kind of team? Not so much. Derrick Williams ALONE could keep AZ in a close game. If you're getting 8 or more, AZ is very attractive, that's why people like them.

Very true that Duke's guards can't be matched, but don't forget that AZ can put it on the floor and play street-type ball, which Duke isn't as good at defending.

I agree that AZ hasn't been blown out. But they've never seen a team close to Duke's talent. They've been playing in the Pac-10, which pretty much has 3 decently good teams, and 7 crap teams. I'm waiting for the spread to keep shrinking, hoping it will get down to Duke +7, and then I would take Duke.

I think a lot of people got turned off on Duke by their last game, but I they can beat Zona by 7-10 points. ONe thing that Zona has going for them is that they are playing close to home, whereas Duke has to travel across the entire country.
