St. Johns vs. Rutgers tomorrow

This line might be a monster, but i really think St. Johns is going to smash them tomorrow. I hit the over in the Oak/ORU game by the hook tonight....thinking about rolling it all up into the Johnnies ......if the line stays within reason

you're right, this is going to be a public play. Especially if they keep the line in single digits. The Johnnies have the fresh legs after the Rutgers/SH debacle, and playing in The Garden. I just have a funny feeling that single digits may be a pipe dream here.

Actually, I took Seton Hall and gave people reasons why. I made a thread about it before the game, which I normally don't do, but I was that confident in an 11-17 team covering and possibly beating a top 15 St. Johns team that was the hottest team in the nation.

Anyway, I think lowly Rutgers may surprise some people tomorrow. I'm actually leaning Rutgers but I have to wait until my book gives me a line before I make any final decisions. It is concerning that the game is in MSG where St. Johns plays really well but we shall see. I would make St. Johns -5. If the line is -8 or higher I will probably play Rutgers.

I think St. Johns is really overrated. They could get bounced in the first or second round.

the Vegas Insider projection is -9.5......but, we all know how that goes. I agree with you .....kind of. I think if the game is below double digits it's playable. I dont think laying 11, 12, or 13 is a good idea at all. At Johnnies -6 im all day. I might tease if its -10 or -9.5, just to be safe. However, I think they have a legitimate shot at covering laying that much.
