What do we have here. Kentucky not the best on the road, but the vols haven't looked good at all.
How is it going down ?

Kentucky has lost to far worse teams on the road, and Thompson-Bolling Arena is almost as big as Rupp.

Tenn has dropped it's last 4 ATS at home against lesser teams than Kentucky. This is a tough game for them. No Williams means UK is gonna crush them. Pound UK for ten units

Sunday will be Senior Day, plus the Volunteers are retiring Allan Houston's jersey. Throw in the fact that Tennessee is still playing for its NCAA Tournament life and SEC Tournament seeding is on the line, and it should make for one of the most hostile environments Kentucky has played in all year.
"I think they're going to be excited," Calipari said. "It's Senior Night and it's going to be a packed building. I don't think anybody's thinking about anything other than beating Kentucky."
The game will have a major impact on the final SEC Tournament standings. Entering the final weekend of conference play, only the first seed (Florida) and sixth seed (South Carolina) are locked in.
Kentucky (9-6), and Tennessee (8-7) both have a shot at the second seed. UK can do no worse than the fourth seed, but there are still a ton of scenarios for the East's logjam

Just cap the game, the players still gotta play, if the line moves so be it. UK is the better team.

I hear what you are saying, but it would appear some big money has capped the vols on this one for the line to be where its at would it not ? 88% ESPN streak for cash on kentucky to win, lol

I think this is Bruce Pearl's last game in Knoxville. Where does that factor into the equation?

Uh that couldnt be any more wrong as far as the rest part goes. UK needs this win to secure a bye in the conf tourney next week and they are not deep so lord knows they need it. Also they get a very favorable draw next week if they win this game. Plus UK fukin hates Tenn and Tenn fukin hates UK so this game is always one both teams really want to win.

There's no question that Kentucky is the better team, but I guess this one comes down to motivation. UK knows where they stand going forward where as UT faces a lot of uncertainty, not just in regards to the NCAA tournament, but also in regards to the future standing of their coach.

The motivation is there for both teams. Even if there was nothing on the line these two programs just straight dont like each other. Calipari would love to beat Pearl by 100 points if it was possible. Im sure Bruce would love to do the same to UK.
