Seton Hall +3. 3rd posted play of the year (2-0 ytd)

I'm keeping a legit record of my posted plays here. I'm not going to start my record out at like 37-11 like I've seen some people do. Likewise, I don't claim any of these plays to be 20* plays or locks of the millennium. They are just plays I feel strongly about based on a lot of different things I have looked at.

Enough of the BS. I like Seton Hall +3 tonight. I feel like it's a bad spot for a St. John's team that has been suspect on the road. I understand St. John's still has the double bye to play for but at the same time I feel like Seton Hall is going to bring it tonight against a top 20 team at home. Seton Hall's season is pretty much over, so in essence, this is their post-season.

-Seton Hall hasn't been bad at home. Even in losses, the games have been close.
-St. John's has struggled on the road this year.
-St. John's hasn't won at Seton Hall in 13 years.
-Line is at -3 and hasn't moved despite the public being huge on St. Johns.
-Jeremy Hazell is capable of lighting anyone up. I expect him to play his final two home games with everything he has.

Anyway, fade if you would like. I wish everyone the best of luck tonight but I'm taking the Pirates. I feel like St. Johns is a bit overvalued based on the little streak they have put together.

St. Johns is coming off some huge wins that have secured a tourney bid for them. I'm sure they're not looking forward to playing an 11-17 Seton Hall team tonight. It's human nature to not get up for a game like this after you have just beaten teams like Uconn, Pitt, Marquette, and Nova.

I keep hearing that but don't you think these 18-22 year old kids might be taking Seton Hall lightly after beating teams like UCONN and Pitt?

I'm not saying you're wrong, St. Johns may very well come to play tonight. IMO, I just don't see how they can get up for this game after some of good wins they've had recently. Who knows. Maybe St. Johns wins by 20. I'm just playing my instincts and the angles I've looked at. I stay within my bankroll so if I lose it's not going to kill me.

The public has been winning all week. I'm pretty sure the books are going to take back a lot of those winnings tonight. I love it when I back an underdog with a losing record against a top 15 when everyone else is on the favorite and they win outright.

This game screamed let down to me. I already liked Seton Hall before I even saw the line. The low line just confirmed my thinking.
