Vegas Thinks Duke Wins

Its not quite that simple, many times Vegas will overinflate a line, to encourage scared players to take a moneyline.... People looking and saying I really like DUke but I don't know if they can win by 10, so they thing I'll play it safe and take the moneyline, when infact this is the worst thing you can do... There is alot of psychology that goes into picking lines

IF he is the 2nd half line is spot on... UNC is up 14, DUke was -10, so regularly line would have been -4 or -5 but they are down double digits so you double the spread, I actually thought duke would be -10 second half.

UNC's frontcourt matches up so well with the Plumlees, its like the St. Johns game all over again.

Besides, you really want to know what the books think, check out Bodog. Those stingy ass bastards only post moneylines when they think the favorite has a chance to lose, and sure enough they had one for Duke.

hahaha, your close agharah, but bodog's rules are they don't offer moneylines on games of more then 10, or less then 3... ANd no small team moneylines... But your right when the line is 10 I always think the dog has chance to win outright

Exactly, it was about 10.5 at the half when St. Johns was beating up on Duke too.
