12.20.2010 Monday CBB, ECAC HOLIDAY FESTIVAL- Davidson VS ST. JOHNS
Great Monday to all, It's VR again ! I'm coming off a GREAT week, 9-1 with a NINE GAME WINNING STREAK. But hey that's yesterday, new day, new week, LET'S GET IT !
Tonite at the "World's Most Famous Arena" it's the "ECAC HOLIDAY FESTIVAL", this tournament years back was called "Joe Lapchick" ( St Johns Head Basketball coach in the 50's ). In 2000 "Yours Truely" was there ( I'm a New Yorker, before I came here to Vegas ) at this tournament and St Johns who's the host team were playing Duke and if you guy's remember Jason Williams of Duke ( #7 all-time-scorer @ Duke ). The game went into Over-Time and Jason Williams went off scoring 47 points, the Garden was going crazy.
On to 2010 tourny, in the first game Northwestern is playing St. Francis of Brooklyn. St Frans point guard is really good, Ricky Cadell.
My Game, The Main event, Davidson VS St. Johns. Davidson is getting 10 points and thats where I'm going. St. Johns is ok so far this year but KNOWING THIS TEAM LIKE THE BACK OF MY HAND, UNTIL THEY CAN CLOSE OUT TEAMS, I WILL WAGER AGAINST THEM. Davidson can shoot the 3 really well, St. Johns is terrible defending the 3. Davidson plays really, really smart, St. Johns will be throwing up Bomb's all nite ! I'm taking the 10 points to start out the week.
