Yea right! last night I went to the gym and after every set Id walk over to one of the TVs with with the celtics game on, everyone must have thought I was crazy, after the Stoudemire 3, I thought I lost the ML, I was like "F***" and then I saw the replay and was like "HELL YEA" was pretty funny than people realized what was going on in the game.Comment -

Well after looking into the ML betting found here http://forum.sbrforum.com/nba-basket...y-bet-p14.html, I think Im going to give it a shot tonight, the basics of the system are to find strong home teams vs bad road teams, but there are always a few exceptions. Although Ill be risking 2 units to win 1, I actually played this a few times already this yr without me even really thinking about it and am 3-0. Here's what I'm leaning towards for my 3 team-par

Charlotte(0-4) @ Atlanta (3-0) -270
Cleveland (0-6) @ Indiana (2-1) -410
Sacramento(0-4) @ Oklahoma City(3-0) -850
Memphis (2-3) @ Houston(4-0) -140
Something like this with Round Robins with 2,3,4s is a risk of 1u for 1.3u win(Technically with the round robin it would be 10 for 13 win, but just rounding down). Playing it like this, you are not putting as much risk out there, but it is not all or nothing on heavy ML. If you are familiar with round robin parlays this actually seems like a great play tonight.....One I very well may make. If you are not familiar with round robin, then read up on it. They are a great value vs a straight up parlay without as much risk involved as you can still win back a % of the original bet, provided at least 2 of your ML favs win.
As a straight up Parlay it is a risk 1u win 2.2 units. I understand the Houston game may be a little close here for some people...but this is an interesting play PP. Thanks for bringing this up.
Without Houston as a straight parlay it is risk 1u win .9 unit.
As a round without Houston with 2s, 3s it is a risk of 3u for a win of 1.5uComment -
To expand, I think the parlay works really well, but you should try and find those games where the ML is less than -500 in an effort to keep your parlay on the positive. ex risk 1 win 1.1. While the over -500ML home favorites are probably going to win a slightly %. This risk/reward is just too high perhaps in just a 3 team parlay to have true real value.

You should expect to lose 24% of the time on this. Since the start of the 2000-01 season, a Team After losing 4 on the road as an underdog in the regular season is 19-56 SU.
After losing 3 on the road under the same circumstances they are 74-197SU.

If I have to choose, I choose Nevada here. AZ St is 0-3 ATS, with losses to Baylor, Richmond, and St. Johns. They beat up a Gardner Webb team. Thats about the extent of their team.
Nevada is 2-1 ATS. With covers against Houston and UNLV. Nevada is a young team, with raw talent, IMO.
Ok lets face it both teams probably suck. Nevada covering against UNLV is enough reason for me to be on their side here. AZ ST just sucks. I think name recognition among recreational betters is going to keep AZ St the favorite here.
Line opened at -5 -105 +5-115, Currently at -4 -109 +4 -101. AZ St is getting 56% of the action here.
