jds07v this is about as far from a lock as it can get. FSU plays great D and the PUB is starting to think exactly what Vegas wants them to think. UF beat FSU and Ohio State beat up on UF so FSU has to lose big to Ohio State, right? No, while I do have a lean on Ohio State and think they win by close to 10 I don't think it's the blowout a lot of people are looking for.Comment -
yeah barnes, I know. I go to FSU. I'm not saying its a lock, but I don't think 4 1/2 is a huge line for basketball.
FSU does play great defense, but the only player they can lean on to get production is Singleton. They are very long and do play good defense, but they cannot score. They rotate in tons of players, but they pretty much have a rotation of 7 role players. They don't have enough players that can win 1 on 1 battles, while they also appear to be wild and unorganized on offense.
They are alright, I think that they can give Ohio State some trouble, but they seem to have athletes and not basketball players. I have been saying this for years. They are probably the 5th best team in the ACC.Comment -

I've got Ohio State as an official pick as well in my thread in the NFL forum. The only thing that scares me about this game is the public being ALL over it. I still say the public can't be WRONG 100% of the time and this is the 1 time they will be right. Ohio State is deep, returns 4 starters to a team that didn't win the national championship because of lack of depth (they broke down late in the year due to too many minutes played by the starters) and they had an awesome recruiting class. One of their incoming freshmen was the #2 ranked center in HS and another freshman is averaging almost 15 pts a game. Actually 5 of the Ohio State players are averaging in double digits. Expect a hard fought defensive battle but Ohio State finds ways to score against Florida States top ranked defense and wins this game in the 2nd half. I hate .5 pt spreads so do yourself a favor and buy the .5pt but take Ohio State -4 (or better). OHIO STATE -4 buying the .5pt.
