Marist +1.5
Iona is playing Marist and is favored by 1.5. I would have Marist -2 but the reason why Iona is favored that they have covered 3straight games (St Peters, Fairfield and Rider). Seems like the oddsmakers adjusted the line in this game just a little bit. Its great if your are taking Marist +1.5 and its even better if you take it on the moneyline. The last time these two schools met at Iona, Marist won easily 79-53. Marist is 12-7, 6-2 conf, and really needs this game to keep alive any chance for tournament play. Iona has won 2 straight at home and both times covered the spread. The spread is somewhat inflated for Iona and it seems like the oddsmakers don't want Iona to cover the spread here. There is an adjustment in the spread for this game. THe adjustments occurred because Iona covered last two home games and 3 in a row overall. If Iona had failed to cover both those games at home, Marist would have been a 3-4 point favorite in this game. The spread does not seem right (for some reason I think Marist should be favored). We got to remember that the spread is based upon recent results. LEts cash in early on this prediction as I feel the spread will change and Marist will be favored.
Louisana Tech +11.
I do not know why Lousiana Tech is a 11 point underdog but I am all over it. I am even considering rolling on the moneyline on Lousiana Tech. Utah St is 14-5 overall and 4-0 in conference play. Utah St has played a soft schedule and has won 9 in a row. Utah St has been lucky this season and has had one game postphoned at NEvada (that was luck). Utah St has had a real easy road schedule. Utah ST did play at Utah and lost by 26. Based on recent results, the spread in this game seems very inflated. This is one of those plays where a double digit underdog not only covers the spread but also wins the game outright. In their last matchup, Lousiana Tech defeated Utah St by a score of 84-71.
Seton Hall +8.5
Providence is coming off a big win at connecticut (77-65). Providence was a 8.5 point underdog and easily covered the spread. It will be tough for Providence to come out with the same energy as they did in their game against Conn. Seton Hall will be motivated to play against tougher competition (Conn in this case). This has to be the letdown game of the day. So lets cash in on these underdogs.Comment -

San Jose St in serious revenge mode winning at Santa clara after losing to them previous year, beat Nevada who beat them twice last year, lost to Hawaii by 1 at the end after losing leading scorer 13 minutes into the game, then came back and beat Fresno State by 4, who had beat them in the last game. LAST TIME SAN JOSE PLAYED IDAHO, IDAHO HIT BUZZER BEATER TO END THEIR SEASON.Comment -
La Tech will not win...cover maybe...they have been out rebounded 10 games in a row..they get out rebounded by 5.4 boards a game at home and only shoot 38.8% for the season...have only 3 wins and nobody with a winning record.Comment -

im a hawaii fan, so i follow the wac including la tech. my advice dont bet la tech. they suck like non other. i was even thinking about betting utah st, but since some of you are on la tech ill just stay away.

Appalachian State -9.5
Appalachian State has won six straight games, covering seven in a row. All five of the Mountaineer's top scorers are all shooting over 45%, while Furman shoots just 40% as a team, giving up 48%. The Paladins had an upset win in their last game over Charleston...so App. St. will be focused and Furman emotionally drained. App. St. came here last year and lost in OT by four points. I don't see any reason why they won't have their game on tonight. The Mountaineers have put up 90 points per game in their last three.Comment -
