4* WVU +4
3* WVU/UK 1H under 61'
3* Kansas State 1H -2
Think WVU wins outright, 62-61. I know a lot of people are enamored of Kentucky, and i recognize that i hold an anti-UK bias this season, but there's just no convincing me that they are a great team, or even a very good team. When they run teams out of the gym, they look awesome, but when forced to play halfcourt (as UT did a couple times this year, and Miss St did in the SEC final), they can look pretty ordinary given their talent level. I'll take the better-coached team against the team that thinks it can flip a switch to blow out its opponent every time.
As for the under, WVU successfully slowed down Missou and UW, and should be able to do the same to UK. Thought about game under, too, but will take the 1H given chance for extra FTs or OT.
With K State, i like them to win and cover, but like 1H better. Part of it is fear that K State may have tired legs in the 2H after the double OT against XU, part is their spotty FT shooting. Butler played one of their best 1Hs of the season last outing (they're more of a 2H team), and K State jumped out quickly on Xavier but let them back in and didn't cover the 1H. Frank Martin gave his team a real pistol-whipping over that at half that would've been worse if cameras hadn't been present. Willing to bet that he's remade that point without cameras present since.
BOL to all tonight.
