I'm not saying anyone was involved except for Buford shooting the free throws.

If anyone out there recorded the game, watch what he does as he is stepping to the line to shoot those last 2 free throws.

I made the wager at the start of the 2nd OT and got +600 so it was a longshot to begin with but after what I saw him do, I was confident he was going to miss both free throws. Once again, an 82% FT shooter missing both is about 20-1.

I believe very strongly that someone Buford knew wagered on Illnois +7 1/2.

Its one of the things you have to deal with when betting on players that are primarily human garbage.

Cougar Bait, only an ABSOLUTE IDIOT would make a statement like that assuming you watched the game. Knowing that you had Illinois +7 1/2 only makes it that much worse.

I am 3-0 today so far BTW. I watched the entire game. If YOU watched the entire game you would recognize that DOUBLE OVERTIME generally doesn't happen when the fix is in. Why not blow it when you're down 9 genius? Why wait 2 OVERTIMES to blow it? You don't think there's more than one reason he could be looking to the sidelines before a free throw? You do realize THE COACH is on the sidelines, yes?

There was never a chance of Ohio State covering the 7 1/2 down the entire stretch until Buford stepped up to shoot those free throws.

As I said earlier, I was watching his actions and they seemed very strange for the situation and I felt certain that an 82% FT shooter was going to miss them both (a 5% chance) and that is exactly what he did.

Your comments about this have been really asinine.

Cougar, I never said the game was fixed. YOU SAID IT!!!

What I did say is that I believe that Buford (the guy shooting the last pair of free throws) might not have wanted to see his team cover the 7 1/2 point spread.

The game going into 2 overtimes doesn't mean anything because Ohio State never had a chance to cover the spread at any point from late in the 2nd half until Buford shot those free throws.

Why are you having so much trouble understanding this?

Also, Illinois didn't even need to foul to begin with when there were only 8 seconds left in the game, so the fact that he got to the FT line to begin with was an accident. Down 7 points without the ball, even the fact that you had a CHANCE to cover was a miracle. Albeit, a very frustrating defeat if you had OSU, but I've seen hundreds of endings to games that were more questionable. How about the ending to the Dayton game last night? Anyone watch that[/COLOR]
