Road to the Final Four

My 2, kind of 3.... personal locks for the sweet sixteen, looking for any input on the other games....I live with 3 other guys who are Big East fanatics, I'm the ACC nut, and the general consensus is that Syracuse is a huge mismatch for Butler all across the board. Cuse's athleticsm and length will smother Butler resulting in what I think is an easy win. Duke and Purdue is another huge mismatch, Duke's size, strength, and experience all comes into play here and of course no Hummell for Purdue who in many an expert's opinion, were incredibly lucky enough to have even made it this far. Purdue couldn't touch a weaker Duke team last year with Hummell, I think Duke comes out big here and rolls over the Boilermakers. I haven't made an official play yet tonight, but I'm going big on both these teams on the moneyline, still need to watch the spread and see how the final lines come out. I also think Cornell will cover against Kentucky, Cornell with all these seniors and the most efficient offense in the country against quite possibly the youngest and most inexperienced team in the tournament in Kentucky. I'm from NY though so I'm slightly bias towards Cornell...

agree with duke, not touching butler/cuse as if butler shoots well from 3 they could easily be in this thing at the end, same with cornell/ken i just think it may be to late to join the cornell party, i hope they win but i could certainly see uk pulling away

it was early and i have a lot of respect for xavier but i just think k-st defense will be to much and ill take Pollen over about anyone right now...heard a lot of talk about how poorly xavier shot the 1st game and yes that is true and not sure why k-st D doesnt get any credit for this give me there coach, there D, there talent and ill take my chances....the only team in this tourney they couldnt beat is gone and i just dont see xavier being the team that knocks them off

WVU -4 (not nearly as big as k-st)....ive been on wash for quite some time probably longer than most so this pick wasnt easy for me to make.....this is the 1st team wash will see that doesnt play the style wash wants, just dont see wvu running up and down the court with this team like marq or new mex....WVU will slow this game down and pack it in in the half court, wash is not a good jump shooting team and i believe you gotta be able to shoot on wvu 1-3-1 to beat them....wash just doesnt match up as well with this team as wvu has length and athletes so something wash has been exploiting is no longer a big edge for them in this 1...i just think of wvu as a higher quality usc and usc managed to dictate tempo against this team twice this year.....as much as i like wash they are susceptible to being frustrated and i could see wvu frustrating the shit out of them....ive seen ppl saying wash will create a lot of turnovers but wvu did a respectable job of ball control against a team that ball hawks as well as anyone in Mizzou...bottom line is this is the match up i had in most my brackets(which are fukked) but to me nothing has changed and i just dont think wash has what it takes to win a game that isnt being played the way they like it

I'm making Baylor a big play tomorrow as well, really like this matchup they will be all over sanhan if they defend the 3 pt line they should run them to death. Also gonna be on Duke tomorrow I think, i'm not sold on this purdue team don't think they will be able to score with Duke (even though I hate duke and would love them to lose)

yea i like duke as well( actually same thing hate duke, but you know what i mean) its just a pretty big number against a very tough defensive minded Purdue team

i have the same thought but i'm thinking that purdue will have a tough time scoring down the stretch and if duke can get up by 5 to 7 with 3 min left we should get a cover. won't be a big play for me though
I might just run with baylor and leave it at that
I like N. Iowa but I hate betting against Izzo but I just don't know if Mich st will know where to go down the stretch and N. Iowa can pull it off towards end. Need to look into that one more
