you guys are probably right and im staying away from it for the most part- but kentucky is the far-superior team thats all im sayin. i see plenty of reason to leave it alone, lotsa reasons to take KY, just not really any reason to take the other side.

three reasons why i'm leaning UT:
1. UT 18-3 ATS as a home dog going back to 1997.
2. the comments that i'm reading as to why UK is the play remind me a lot of the comments as to why Kansas was the play at UT, and we all remember how that worked out.
3. 67% of public on UK, but Greek and now 5 Dimes have changed line to +2. someone with a lot more money than me likes UT. i believe that the Greek's line moves are generally the sharpest, and when they move first, it catches my attention.

solid input biff but this still just seems like reason to stay away from the game instead of betting against maybe the best or second best team in the nation and only getting 2 points. i watched that TN/FL game and wayne chism went down hard, hurt his hip and was limping- hes probably fine but thats just yet another issue.

too many games today to deal with this TN game or the vanderbilt one...will you end up being the crazy conspiracy theorist who bets against the far-superior team and lose by 10 or will you be the sucker square that goes down in flames and regrets using such primitive selection logic. i dont want to be either. (it'll be really hard for me not to try to get a tiny piece of kentucky but i suggest at most- you guys do the same for whatever side youre on of this- go small)

i think you've hit the nail on the head: there are enough games on the card that going against the #2 team in the country and only getting 2 points is unnecessarily risky. the Kansas upset probably cost UT supporters a point or 2 by itself. no way would i back UK in this spot, but since i've been looking at this game since yesterday and still haven't played it, probably time to consider throwing it in the no-play pile, move on and just watch a good game.

Let's be honest here - Kentucky has three lottery picks next year and Tennessee doesn't have a future pro on their roster. The Vols have been horrible defending the paint this season - and those are the kinds of teams that Kentucky takes advantage of. And I think we all know the Cats have the guys to defend Hopson and Chism.

as to the 10 years ago, fair enough. what i'm saying is that, long-term, UT is a tough place for road faves to play. this is a circle-the-calendar game, as was Kansas and as are Memphis and Florida. the team will be more focused, and the crowd more energized.

as for the gun-charge thing, i didn't give UT any additional points for that in that game, and in fact deducted slightly for it due to simple loss of available talent (as with an injury). UT has only lost 1 game at home this season, and is coming off a loss. they'll be focused. admittedly, Kentucky has done well as a small road dog this season (2-0).

lottery picks or not, UT didn't play all that badly at UK recently. i had Kentucky 1H in that, and lost. i'm no UT apologist, that's for sure, but UT surprised me that game and hung with UK pretty well but for some bad stretches. the Vols have treated me well a number of times over the years as a dog, that i clearly recall. we can agree to disagree, but i think UT wins by 3-4. if i'm wrong it won't be the first time. i'll bet you some SBR points or whatever. BOL to you today.
