Pretty important game for both teams, who are on the bubble at best. SF has Gilchrist back. Cincinnati coming off a big road win at UConn -- may be hung over a little. I'll go with the home squad, but sportsguy 04, who's a great capper and usually in tune with Cincy, is siding with the Bearcats.

Listen boys Cincy plays like shit on the road. South Florida has been competitive with a lot of Big East teams better then Cincy. Don't be fooled by that charade Cincy pulled at Uconn. It was more of Uconn playing bad then Cincy playing good. Bulls got Gilchrist back now and will win by no less then 8 IMO.

Some notes:

Cincy won 78-70 a few weeks ago in Cincy vs. USF.

This game was essentially played without UC's 2 of their best players in Gates and Stevenson. Gates only played 10 mins b/c he was in foul trouble, but when he was in he dominated with 8 points in the first 5 minutes I do believe. USF had no answer for him. Stevenson was sidelined with an injury and logged 0 minutes.

Now I know Gilchrest didnt play, and assuming he does play tonight, he will help out Usf tremendously, if he is 100%, but may be out of game shape for sitting out for a few weeks. Only time will tell.

Line opened up a USF-3. 76% of public on USF and line has gone down to -2.5 .

This sort of helps me feel more comfortable about UC, (not the only reason why I like UC tonight).

- I have been spot on with UC quite a bit this season. Syracuse 2 sundays ago at UC was my biggest play of the year pretty much, as I knew UC couldnt hang below DD. Uc at Uconn, another example, Night before I said UC would win outright (ask 2dabank.).

Both teams are in desperate need of a victory tonight, for both teams are looking at one another saying this is a team we should beat. Which is somewhat true. UC is the better team, and has build some confidence after their huge ugly win vs. UConn. Built alot of confidene in these players to show that it is possible to win on the road in such a key game.


I'd buy the back up to +3 UC just to be safe.

When Cincy beat Maryland and Vandy neither of those teams were playing as well as they are right now, and Cincy was playing much better than they have been

Both were ranked at that time , vandy is still ranked and going to be playing for the sec champion ship. I'd say that's a quality win . Heck Maryland was a quality win . All that matters in the end is they beat 2 top 25 teams at that time .

Cincy could deffinately win this game....but again it's either South Florida or no play here. There is NO value in taking a Cincy team on the road going up against a HOT South Florida team at home as only a 2 pt fav.

Your right, however if a team was ranked in the begginning of the season, and is currently ranked still now later in the season, then it is a excellent win, but your right, if a team beat UNC early in theseason when they were ranked, now that UNC is not ranked and is struggling, then that game begginning in the season doesnt look as good now.

Im just saying the fact is the stat will show that they beat 2 top 25 teams in the tourney.
