but rochestertitan has been $$ i use it to guage my overall picks... i dont follow everything he has but i do my own home work and if i have what he has i may play 1 more unit.. if he is oppisite i may not play it. its all in how i truelly feel about a game or not.. you still need to put in the time and research teams how they play against each other last game .. injuries.. lineups/ ats #'s and watch the consensious...

I hear that, being kinda new myself. Handicap the games yourself. I meerly use this thread for checking my picks purposes. Maybe in a pinch or if someone has a great tip do I use their stuff. The way my luck runs just about the time I use someone elses picks they lose. You have no one to blame but yourself. Sounds like your doing ok way mess with that.

Go to the services section and tail KSL's picks.. I think their records may be skewed though because they seem to count their free picks when they win, but when they lose they don't count them in their records.

.....listen, learn, take advice, all good but blindly tailing makes no damn sense and is one of the many reasons i do not keep a season long thread and post my record or brag and beat my chest because i wouldnt want a bunch of sheep suckin me off cant wait for the next pick....it is really ridiculous

I agree with Banker on this one, it is okay to listen to everyone's opinions, thoughts, info, etc. but in the end, you have to be the one making the pick because it is your money that you are playing with. I could not imagine tailing someone blindly and kicking myself when it does not work out because I lost money from being an idiot.

It seems that you are doing pretty good on your own, so don't know why you would think now you have to find someone to tail.

I don't think the followers are dumb they are just the kind of people who don't want or know how to do the work of capping

I never capped a game before I started reading these boards I was just like the OG

I picked based on my knowledge of the game,meaning I have played the games I wager on

my knowledge of the teams playing consisted of the big name players and the name of the team

I like reading guys like iceminer and 2dabank because they take the time to show you what the thinking process that they are using is as opposed to just putting the name of the teams they are playing

1. if you bet for recreation why tail? better to make your own picks.....and more fun
2. if you bet for short term income......if you can't handicap well tail EVERY one of a respected poster's picks and money manage like crazy (use kelly)
3 if you bet for long term income......make your system do your own work and try to get better over time
