good mourning every1 time for another fun filled Saturday.....most the plays i really like jump off later today but i have a few i like im gonna post now, then i will just add to the list throughout the day...
N. Tex -5....Fade den on the road time once again....this has been a theme all year den is not very good when you take them out of the thin air.....n.tex is every bit the team as all the rest of the teams that have handled den this year.....
Evansville +13....i would have liked this play better if evansville didnt just beat wichita st as a let down is somewhat of a concern....if you look into the numbers on this game you will undoubtedly favor siu and i agree they have been playing very well against the better teams in the conf, they have been treating me well since there sunday night game against wichita st where i got the nice .5 point cover...the problem is while Siu is a solid team there style of play is more likely to keep games close against the best teams in conf and the worst...i look for Evansville to build off there 1st conf victory with some confidence and play tough more than likely coming up short but staying within this rather large number...
WKU -6.....yes they have been disappointing and there road performance to date really not much better than Denver's....However i see a team that still has talent and the ability to get things going.....WKU last game out they covered a rather large number at home while not incredibly impressive something they have failed to do most the year....I couldnt have picked a better opponent for them to go on the road and keep things going the right direction down the home stretch than Ark Lr...i still hold wku in high regard in this conf and think they will be on a mission from here on out to play well going into the conf tourney....
Port -1.5...i know this pick will be incredibly unpopular but that is ok...ive liked this port team for some time saying many times they are right on the brink of being in the discussion with st mary and the Zags....this is a big game for both teams and it will be interesting to see how st mary's responds after the Zags ass beating...that game in no way has any effect on why im taking port as ive come to expect the zags to beat the Gaels, if you look at how both teams have fared against similar teams por has looked more impressive to me......
Buf +2(bought hook).....while Kent st is the class of the conf no doubt there last few games on the road they have been pushed with the cover in doubt for a lot of the game on relatively short lines against teams that do not have nearly the scoring power as buf...really feels to me like the books have drawn a line in the sand on this 1 and as always yo know who's side i rather be on
