New to the forum but will start posting my plays. I heard of the site from a fellow sportscapper and am excited about sharing my thoughts and plays with everyone. i am 23 years old and am currently doing my masters in environmental biology at the university of windsor in windsor, ontario. I have been betting for 3 years now and making around $900 a week right now with plans to keep it rising! I believe in money mangement more than placing large wagers and I mostly cap college and nba basketball. Being from canada i do like to follow and watch hockey so I usually include 1 game a night. i usually place $100 per game unless otherwise noted. I dont expect anyone to tail me right away as respect is not given but earned. I usually only bet on games i can watch so i am able to learn more about the teams for future reference. With that said....

DAY 1

Notre Dame +5

Notre Dame is 9-1 SU against Seton Hall in the last 10 games. The Pirates last defeated the Irish in 2003. Notre Dame has won the last three games between the teams in HALL by an average of 12.9 ppg. Notre Dame has the best player on the court, Luke Harangody. Notre Dame is not a good road team (1-4) however they lost by double digits in syracuse and in Villanova but the other 2 losses were by 1 and 2 points respectively. ND's overall dominance in the series is too much to ignore especially given points. I dont recommend the moneyline but i do believe ND wins. 69-66 Irish.

Gonzaga -6

Big Rivalry game in a series that has been dominated by Gonzaga to say the least. The Gaels have not been able to beat Gonzaga in Spokane, where St Marys coach Randy Bennett has an 0-8 record. SMU has been some what good against the spread in recent years vs the zags only because of the talent former leader Patty Mills brought them. St. Mary's cant keep up with the talent rich gonzaga team and at home I expect them to send a big message to their rivals. The bulldogs havnt played since saturday and I expect some fresh legs and clear minds. 77-63 Zags.

Cal -4.5

Washington's awful road record and performances can speak for themselves. Cal has the best RPI in the Pac 10 by far and is ready for revenge against UW. 74-65 Golden Bears.

NHL

LA KINGS -1.5

LA just had their 9 game winning streak snapped in Anaheim monday night and are playing league worst Edmonton on a back to back. the speedy and high scoring Kings will take full advantage of the legues worst road team and get back on their winning ways. 5-1 Purple and Black

Thanks my man. 9 of the last 12 games in this series have gone over. these teams dont really play much D. i do expect it to be slower paced game with ND and HALL not being very deep this year and the starters are going to be out there 35+ mins. Also this is a very big game for both teams. i wouldnt play but i lean under.

DAY 2

Went 3-0 thursday so lets keep it moving......Don't like too much but will play a couple games. First,

PITT +3

Panthers have defeated the Mountaineers the last four games played in Pitt. They have won eight of the last nine in the series at home and they are 5-0 against teams ranked in the top five at the Petersen Events Center. They have a few defeats against top 25 teams there, sporting a 10-4 mark. Overall, they are 128-11 lifetime in Petersen, including a 53-10 mark against the Big East. They have won 34 out of their last 35 home games, and are 13-1 at home this season. So, as bettors we are getting two points with a team that rarely loses at home and if you look at this game from the perspective of a Vegas bettor, he is going to see on the board that the 5th ranked team in the country is "only" giving up two points to a team ranked 23rd. The average bettor will take West Virginia. That is the wrong side on Friday night. IMO

Pitt may lose its second home game of the season on Friday night, but I am not willing to put my money on it. Understanding the trends and the public is huge. Pitt is the right side at home. These are both very good defensive teams, and expect a low scoring game. The Panthers will find a way to win at home on national television Friday night. 67-64 Pitt. I like the ML but i'll take the Panthers and the two and a half points.

SIENA -4

They have won 15 in a row and absolutely dominate the MAAC. They have so many weapons and are ridiculously balanced and loaded with senior talent. This gives me the confidence that they can go on the road and take care or business. Niagara has lost 7 of the last 10 and Siena is trying to gain respect for the tourney. Siena is 17-5 ATS in the last 12 years against Niagara and 8-1 ATS when playing on the road in Niagara. 76-67 Saints.


NHL

MINNESOTA

The Wild had won four straight at home before a 3-2 loss to red-hot Phoenix on Wednesday. They had been 9-0-1 in their previous 10 home games. Atlanta has lost 4 of 5 overall and 3 straight on the road and i dont see them winning in one of the leagues best home teams buildings. Atlanta is 3-12-4 on the road since December and is 3 for 53 on the power play in the last 15 road games, including 0 for 4 on Wednesday. The Thrashers latest loss came a day after Atlanta traded Kari Lehtonen, whose 94 wins and 204 games played are club records for a goaltender, to Dallas for defenseman Ivan Vishnevskey and a fourth-round pick. That move came less than a week after the Thrashers traded leading scorer and team captain kovalchuck to New Jersey as most of you know. Hedberg is 1-5-4 with a 3.01 GAA in his last 10 road games, but Pavelec has been even worse with a 1-6-0 record and a 5.09 GAA in his last eight starts away from home. 3-1 WILD

From Ohio, so about 4 hour drve for me. Use to make the trip up since you only gotta be 19 obviously. But yeah have been comped in a hotel room for a night (beautiful rooms). Love their texas holdem BONUS tables. That and the Sports Bar. Great place.

We always head up to Casino Niagara because it is closer for my buddies and I but been to Windsor my fair share of times. We use to always shoot over the border when we had away games at Compuware, always a great time.
