I'd feel better if 70% of the public wasn't on Pitt, but other than that, i like Pitt a lot here. Even though Pitt lost Young, Blair and Fields from last year, this year's team has come together quickly and is one of Jamie Dixon's best coaching jobs to date. The Panthers looked very tough, physically and mentally, in earning 3 conference road wins already. Pitt and Georgetown are pretty equally matched, with GT having better outside shooting and overall FG% and Pitt the better rebounding team and perimeter defense. The difference will be Pitt's toughness and home court advantage.

3* UTEP/Memphis 1H under 63'

Two teams better on defense than on offense in an important game for C-USA standings, where 3 teams other than Memphis are undefeated. Memphis' dribble drive offense can really bog down against a good team (see, e.g., Tennessee, Kansas, Gonzaga, Xavier over past 2 seasons), and Memphis' higher-scoring games are generally against their lesser opponents. UTEP has size and athleticism on the front line (so THAT'S where Derrick Caracter went), so they should be able to defend the rim adequately and keep Memphis from playing volleyball on the boards. Last two 1Hs between these teams were 60 or less.

Baylor's a very good team to be down 9 at half, and has played KU tough in the 1H last 3 meetings. Good as Kansas is, there's definite value in this line. Baylor off 1H non-cover, KU off huge 1H against Texas Tech. Both Collins and Aldrich are probable with personal issues. Here's to a distracted Jayhawk team struggling to find its stride in the 1H.

been a tough 2 days, but after Baylor 1H clicked and a couple of leans came in, things seem better. i played Boise 1H +2 small in late game. i like those 1H home dogs, especially with the line movement.
