One of those typical college hoops traps, games that look way too easy usually do not cover like 65% of the time.

Luckily I got the spead at Pitt -1.5

I'm playing only 2 units on Pitt simply because they are at home. In conference games between teams of roughly equal ability have a funny way of favoring the home team to win by between 2 and 4 points. Anything higher than 1.5 I would not take, and I am still cautious and putting a small amount on Pitt.

Pitt has been overachieving and winning with at bunch of nobodies. they got very lucky to beat Louisville at home, in OT. They would have lost in regulation by about 5 or so if Louisville didn't miss 4 free throws in the last seconds. Their luck is due to run out. Georgetown has one of the best starting 5's in the big east, and presents big matchup problems. As Monroe at 6'11 plays the 4 and Vaughn plays the 5. Pitt does not have big men, let alone mobile big men to take on that matchup problem.

I agree, the only thing that worries me is the big men getting tired at the end. GT has no bench and Pitt has a great D. I think GT wins this game tonight.

I just hope its not close in the end. By all rights GT should win easy in this one.

Pitt is really hard to figure out.

Exactly, they are unbeatable at home in the Dixon era.

I agree with JJ post about these types of plays normally not working out, but this is not the case in this particular spot, this is a case of Vegas not giving the Panthers and Dixon the respect they earned over the years. Its not like we have a Tennessee that will letdown at home, we have a team in the Panthers that respect their home dominance and won't let the 3-2 road Hoyas come into their barn and steal a win.

easy explanation people still havent bought into PITT yet for whatever reason and GT is generally a public team, on the same side as you OTW hopefully pitt doesnt play as bad as they did vs louisville

Pitt is a great great coached team on fundamentals, discipline, making the extra pass, and most importantly defense and rebounding. They are way down on the list in terms of talent though. and that is why this team never goes deep in the tourney, even last year they had 4 pro players (2 nba) in the starting lineup and they still couldn't make it to the final 4. I like Georgetown here due to their superior talent. Pitt is due a bad game, they can't run the table in Big East play. Last game they needed a near miracle in the end to get to OT and a player that had done nothing all year to play the game of his life to help them keep it close. Pitt is good, but they aren't great. People are getting fooled
