I did a live bet on Iowa St. +10.5 (1H) with 5 min left in the 1H thinking it was a good bet not knowing Las Vegas had a plan for the game.

No, I'm only insinuating that part. But I'm really surprised Iowa St. can't even cover a 10.5-point 1H spread in the 1H. They were down 12 points when I placed the bet. Too bad. Done with the game. Not toughing the 2H.

You don't hold a team to 18 points in a half, and then give up 60, unless something is rotten. The Iowa coach didn't look like he even broke a sweat down 20, I didn't see any emotion, he seemed like he knew something was rotten. Then the announcers could see what was so blatantly obvious saying, "they (OK) haven't made any adjustments," while OK was getting romped in the 2nd. Yet still, no matter where you turn, no matter what day, what line, what game, etc. it's pretty much virtually always as follows: The odds come out and appear. Where, how, when, by whom, etc. we'll never know, will we? All of a sudden now, out of thin air, a line appears. You now have a play on a college basketball game where a team is getting 6 points. Ok. So we're going to turn 10 kids loose on a basketball court for 40 minutes, and let's see how well we predict the outcome, and how well the Book set the line. And then just like that, no matter all that happened in the prior 39 minutes and 59 seconds, it all comes down to the last shot, with a second left, on the game's final play, to know that the fave who needed to win by at least 7 points to cover, will win by 7 points. It's ridiculous.

I have been on both ends of two of the most ridiculous 2nd half comebacks in the span of 48 hours...on Saturday I had UTEP to complete about $1200 in ML parlays up 52-28 with under 11 mins to go proceed to give up a 35-8 run to Southern Miss to lose 63-60...then tonight I had Iowa St ML on a 3 teamer that I never had time to hedge as the Baylor game went to OT...I win the Baylor barely on a +3 but the Clones suck in the first...thought I had a loser....nice to get one back after Saturdays bad beat....not $1200 but I will take getting half of that back today!!

Sorry for Sooner bettors...you got butt snipered.

I was at the game. We just couldn't hit any shots in the first half. Simple as that.
