As an Arizona bettor, I counted this as a lose at 10 minutes left in the 2nd. Cats were done 3 straight up! Ill take it.

Zona really picked up their defensive pressure at about the 8 minute mark..started to press, which led to like 5 straight turnovers for UCI...idk why it took so long but they finally figured out that pick and roll shit. And the Cats displayed how to hit FTs down the stretch..nevertheless a miracle cover!!!

When you're leading the number 2 team in the country for a long time and finally give up the lead... it's very frustrating.

when glancing at that box score rundown...yes it looks intentional fouling but if you watched it didn't seem that way...the first 2 fouls listed were still with game in reach, granted a hard comeback. One of those fouls was on a defensive rebound which wasn't intentional. And at the end they let them run the clock out...there was like a couple secs left between the shot and reg clock and arizona got a good look up close

I know these teams foul when the game is way out of reach but this is pretty bad even for this sport. You would think they would be happy with a moral victory and tight loss in a game they were getting a big paycheck to play.

Thankfully, I didn't watch it. I don't know why McConnell and Ashley are out there with 10 seconds left either throwing oops. I should yell at McConnell, I talked to him on twitter, he's a Pittsburgh guy.

This is bull.
As long as I've followed college hoops many teams keep fouling until there is absolutely no shot to make it close to the end.
I have seen 2-3 comebacks in the past 5 seasons with teams down close to 15 with 1.5 minutes left and win...and 1 game down 11 with about a minute to go and win.

I think most student-athletes are not concerned about the paycheck the school gets...it's about heart and pride in giving your all for the school on your jersey and for your teammates...I emphasize MOST.

The coach is the one telling them to foul, if he calls off the dogs, the game ends around 13 or so.
