mlb's 2014-15 hoops thread

I've done threads before - don't always finish them due to work picking up come January and hard to always get plays posted.

I've been keeping track of my plays for the last 3 years only and subtract a few huge future wins I am a losing player. My goal is to become more consistent.

This off season I have been focusing on the Horizon League. I am going to try and nail that conference since I believe it's less focused on by Vegas.

I am a situation/surface better with most sports so there will be other plays in here as well.

Love discussions and debate, don't mind verbal abuse, just can't believe some people don't have anymore of a life than to harass people online. It's hard for me to take that stuff too personal.

what is your opinion on Detroit? I have most of the middle of the pack in the Horizon staying stagnant but Detroit gets back the whole backcourt and get a couple solid transfers. They lose both big men, but one of the transfers is a decent center from Penn State

They are my favorite off season team in the horizon... obviously GB will still be good but I am picking Detroit to finish second. Really like their team - will be alot of pressure on Ackerman to provide something down low but as you mentioned, love their back court - expecting an even bigger year from Howard.

I have them a distant third behind Cleveland State but I agree. They should be very much improved

Obviously regret almost all of those, but I've had some success with futures in almost every sport so tried to beat the market. Oh well... can't wait for the season to start tomorrow.

Horizon with a nice 5-1 ats ... Belmont had that game - surprised wright st of all teams after losing so much was able to close out game 1

Regret passing on Oakland - they can score, but figured cyclones would blow them out ..

If we don't see a total against Iowa st, we may never seen one with oak

Think Belmont turned it over 3 or 4 of the last posessions. Sent Wright State to the line like crazy the last 2 minutes as well. Complete choke job. It wasn't like they were leading big or anything but they had a steady small lead for a while

absolutely - never a blow out, but regardless.... I should actually say I am surprised by Belmont down the stretch more than Wright St.

would have liked San Diego at 4.5 or 5 when it came out. Couldn't pull the trigger on more but if it hits 5.5 I may consider it. San Diego played a tough BSU team very tight and SEMU was beat by double digits by a team that lost 4 starters and is undergoing a dramatic coaching change to a guy who is very system oriented (wants to run more set plays than pick and roll)
