I knew UConn wasn't going to show their full hand. They just got out to a comfortable lead and coasted the rest of the way.
Since I'm a woman I follow the women's game pretty close.
I also bet on NCAAA men's basketball too. Doing ok in the tournament so far.

Glad you're doing well. My wife does her own betting (bb & football) and she does pretty good as well. I saw that +58 line also and just had to do it. Who do you like tonight in the womens league?
Thakns in advance!!!

Women's NCAA Tournament
I bet football also. I had a profitable season.
It's a tough card tonight in the women's tournament.
So I'm probably going with 2 small plays.
I like Tenn.-14 over St John's.
Just a matter of which Tenn. team shows up. At times Tenn. plays like no one can beat them, At other times they just start too slow.
St John's has a habit of starting slow too. They're undersized, but very athletic.
I like Baylor -13 over Cal
Lady bears are still getting it done even while adjusting to life after Britney Griner
Kim Mulky will be back tonight for Baylor.
Fordham held cal to only 64 point, cals. lowest point total all year.
Cal's going to want to play up tempo tonight. Don't think they can keep up with Baylor.

even for after today. had stanford and kentucky women to cover 1st half, couldn't the 2nd because i was on the road and didn't make it back soon enough to my house to bet. got money on ranford men 1st half and that's going to lose. i think home team in men's bball is the thing now in cbi/nit/cit, not saying they'll all win at home. studying women's, tenn and baylor to possibly place a bet

As far as I know. I'm the only girl posting picks on this thread.
There should be a few good games to bet on in the women's sweet 16 tournament.
If I have any good picks I'll post them.

Since you follow the women's game, do you know of any significant game players that are injured?

Senior Guard Tiffany Bias of Okla. St has an ankle injury, but she'll probably still play against ND.
I'm only going with 1 play so far.

Baylor-4 over Kentucky winner
I thought about placing a wager on ND. They were capable of covering the large spread, but I knew they weren't going to go out of their way to do it.
Stayed away from UCONN as well. Just wasn't sure which BYU team would show up.
Right now its UConn 34 BYU 31 2ND half.

one doesn't know, i guess a higher scoring maryland team was the choice, but that's all hindsight. trying to decide on whether to bet men's or women's. If women, like louisville to cover. might bet 1st half on them too. be nice to get to that $2000 dollar mark, but it's been tough, back at 1800 now. by the end next games i might be back 1700, or less.

what i have noticed is that women's 1st half wins do a good job of covering the 2nd half spread, i think that is. It requires more research. i acutually have 22 to win 20 on maryland 2nd +3

I haven't been keeping track of 2H spreads, but just looking at the scores...the team that wins the 1H wins the game outright. Most games appeara to be decided at half.

i had louisville 1st half. then happen to watch the game 2nd half on the net, maryland girls way taller than ville girls. on the really bad side, i went deep into the account on uconn women twice and lost. 1900 down to 1300. and laid 150 on sanford 2nd half -9.5

Louisville almost sent game into OT.
I won $100 on Maryland+4 1/2
I passed on Stanford vs. UNC
Women's final 4 now set.
ND Forward Natalie Achonwa out for the rest of the season. Torn ACL
Achonwa is ND leading rebounder.

Looks like Uconn's all but a lock to win it now. ND may not even make the championship game. Maryland played them very close in the regular season.

Stanford will have to play a lot better than they did against UNC if they expect to have any chance of pulling off the upset over UCONN.
Maryland's chances have improved with ND Achonwa out of the line up.
It will still be a good matchup.
Maryland is hot at the right time. They have a chance to be the sleeper team that slips through and wins it all. Just like T A&M did a few years back.
