UConn +5 and ML at Cincinnati

Wondered what the board's thoughts were here. Cincinnati is obviously very good, but I still love UConn's guards and this might be a chance for them to make a statement. I've only seen both teams a few times this year -- any experts on either side want to chime in?

i really like cincy... their defense, especially at home is unreal. VERY lengthy team. will give Uconn hell.
I think Napier could keep Uconn in this game by himself, but i think Cincy is good enough to cover this spread... did you see what they did to louisville? AT louisville....

I'm also looking at Temple, who just continues to suck, at +13.5 @ SMU. Big letdown spot for SMU after the home pounding of Memphis. Way too many points there.

East Carolina and Oakland on the radar as well.

Problem is.. Uc has really good guards that defend. I think uconn doesn't match up well here. Need big men to beat us.

I still like them but and still will most likely go pretty heavy on this game, I just think they match up pretty well, faster guards and I think shabazz goes absolutely nuts tomorrow, either way it should be a 1-2 possesion game and there is still some vslue with uconn? Im going to take a shot at the ML too

I personally think UConn and Temple are both great plays tonight, but that's just me. We'll see I guess.

Did you like how they played against Louisville? Kind of hard to get up for S. Florida after playing Louisville. On the same token, it shouldn't be too hard to get up for UCONN.

Incredibly sharp line. The line movement indicated this. On top of that books obviously expected a Cincy close win with the opening line.

Greaser first off the opening line was the first alarm. #7 ranked team only -5 at home over a mediocre #22 team (btw books haven't been crazy about UConn this year). The fact that it went down at first indicated to me that it was definitely going to be a close game but the movement where it bounced around 5/5.5/6 basically told me it was going to come down to late free throws.

I have found that when lines are bouncing around in the 5-6 pt range that most college games are going to come down to late foul shots for a win of about that margin.
