Both these picks are too good to be true. I'm taking syracuse -8.5, and Louisiana Lafayette -7. Syracuse should be more like a 14.5 point favorite by my calcs, so I probably missed something or went wrong at some point. Louisiana-Lafayette should be more like a 12 point favorite. These plays are a risk, but I'm not too worried. It's not like every game had skewed numbers today, just these two.

day 36: results

Yesterday could have been a monster day, lots of close games that ended in losses. Notre Dame was on its way to an upset, but let Maryland squeak its way in to overtime. Maryland went off on the irish in overtime, and covered the spread. I thought for sure Notre Dame +5.5 was gonna work out when they were winning in the last couple minutes. I have no complaints because it was an overall positive day. I was going to take Tennessee -11, but I was patient and waited for -10.5. If I hadn't been patient the bet would have been a push. St. Josephs was a push, and has now been omitted from the records. They were winning by 20 or so in that game, it sucks that they couldn't cover. No complaints, a day over 500 is a good day.

Last night was a nice night. I missed out on cleveland -6 because I didn't realize tip-off was before 7, but luckily I got enough other wins that it wasn't a crucial miss. I was on the rocks about 3 games, but I played them all. These three games went 2-1, so it was a good call. I was most hesitant about Troy which was a loss. These guys have came up as a play a bunch of times and have never covered when I play them.

Just two plays today, both are underdogs. Missouri has been having a lot of flops ATS when they are favorites. Hopefully there is a different trend when they are dogs on the line. 2-2 so far. Wish I had taken Duke, but I was at the gym during tip-off and never made the pick. Northeastern was up 40-21 at half, then let towson score 33-17 in the second half. After today we are officially over the hill. Been watching lines to try and get better value, but didn't get more than a couple points so far. Bets with ** I didn't like when I did non statistical research. I am playing all these games today, just waiting for a little better value if it comes up. With all the +2 games, my money is on the moneyline. In terms of a win/loss, I will be going by the spread. Hawaii on the road always creeps me out from betting on them, but I will give them another chance today. These Louisiana teams have had some weird numbers before too.

I called it, Saturday was almost comical how badly it worked out. More than half the games were lost by 1-2 points, many were decided by 0.5 points. I don't even know if I made bad picks, or just had a bunch of bad luck unloaded on me... If its the latter of the two, it keeps happening pretty consistently. The only saving grace is that I never actually put real money on the picks on Saturday, I just bet would I normally would have done.

Took an absolute beating last week, and I am now officially below .500. In two days, I hit 0-5 and then 2-12. This combines for 2-17 which knocked off 15 games from my games over .500. I bet air on saturday, and I am betting air again tonight. Until I see some signs of hope, I will keep on betting air!

Lines are razor shayrp and teams know each other so well.

I reduce the volume i play during this time, and I'm not a heavy volume guy to begin w/.

Grease I have been following you for a while. I check the board often but rarely post or even sign in for that matter, but felt the need to here.
