yes i am in the boston area...just relocated to malden from brookline....i read these posts where people pick 12 games etc....i have posted 4 games in my threads for the 2 weeks i have posted and have gone 3-1....people need to realize that they can't bet everygame and try to narrow it down to as many as 3 games per night.....its really all about money management....setting limits.....and doing the research...if you have a bad day don't cry foul or chase...just look til tomorrow...i think alot of people look for other's plays on this board....and thats not good...i think people should make their own picks...afterall its your own money...but thats just me.

haha i couldnt agree more, what happened to louisville yesterday the public was all over them and i myself was all over ND, we know the rest. there were 4000 posts on here saying LOU and i know that altered somes decision, so basically bet for yourself, its your money. and boss im frmo western mass the springfield area, good to see some locals

i've been out there to see the basktball hall of fame etc....if alot of people are on a game i go the opposite...the books know what they are doing...they had to set west virginia at -4 to get people to bet them...if they set the line villanova -4 nobody would take west virginia..everyone would say the books think nova will win....so this -4 west virginia line is a fraud...just to get people to bet the crappy mountaineers..they miss alexander and muzzula

I couldn't disagree more with your assessment that the books put WVU at -4 in order to get WVU action. That is just plain wrong. If the books wanted WVU action they would be catching 4-6 points.

The "public" should be seeing this game and line and saying Villanova +4 is a gift. At least that is my assessment.

It's no secret Villanova has been ballin and WVU has been sucking, so how do you see the public not all over Villanova???

And yes, I agree, many would do themselves a favor if they learned to cap games themselves as opposed to coming to SBR like a junkie looking for the next hit. But on the other hand it's nice to have a place to discuss, hear differing opinions, debate, and the like in order to sharpen your skills.

Over 70% of public on Nova now according to sportsinsights. So if you use the same logic like louiville game yesterday, shouldn't you be on WV side?

ahh, the old double reverse psychology eh? Vegas is going deep these days.

Anyone who has watched any amount of college hoops in the past month knows that Nova has been smoking, and WVagina has been taking the gas. The public should be all over Nova in this situation, regardless of the line. That line was ABSOLUTELY BEGGING for Nova money. And it got a whole lot of it, including yours.

IMO, in this game, you either had to have bet WV or laid off. Hey, sometimes vegas loses the traps----just not this time.

haha this guy, yes im being a tough guy no that was actually half the point of my post 18 year old kids who post here who think their professional cappers who just come here and see what everyones on with out having a brain or system of their own. and yes i was incorrect about a game becuse you guys all knew butler was gonna put up 42 pts himself and if you did read my first initial post i said wv is very capable of winning this game if they dont get behind quick and they certainly didnt. i have just watched novas past 3 games and theyve been playing excellent ball anyone who watches them can attest to that and wv not so much. nowhere allong the lines did i say it was a "lock" so congrats on whoever bet wv you just must be so much superiour then me...no but really you guys need to find a life if your just gonna post and point fingers and laugh when someone loses a bet because trust me fellas i win more then i lose

I think tdawg got it correct with his above suggestion. It's great to have this resource to bounce ideas off and discuss games, but it's all in the approach, tone, and demeanor. There are alot of really sharp guys on this forum, it's not just a bunch of 18 year olds looking for the next hot tout to follow.
