The reason is that they played at Elon and the cadets only won by 2...that was at the begining of conference play. The Citadel is a MONSTER at home and Elon cannot handle anything outside of Alumni Gym (spent two years of my college there) and on the heels of BTB overtime games...they should be spent.
The only caution is that Citadel has won 3 in a row...1st time all year. Are they going to be overconfident and sleep on Elon who is playing teams close (lately), especially after just murdering Samford on their court? The line looks dead on with all that taken into consideration...

Still, The Phoenix are horrible on the road and I just don't see them being able to run with the Cadets on their home court after BTB OT's.

Opened for me at Citadel -4.5 and now -6.5...

thanks bezerk. I can't play ML's, but I think I'm gonna ride Citadel. Need to check out a few more details, but we will see.

I'm also thinking Siena 1st half -8.5 might not be too bad. I doubt they will cover the game, but I see them coming out hot. Much like when they played Iona the other night, they should be up DD's at the half, then sleepwalk the rest of the game.

Dexter, why did you not make the Cavs+6 if I might ask? In my opinion, this game is one of those types of games to take the points but it always helps to get to the nearest key number. As far as the line movement is concerned however, the activity favors the Magic, and if I was taking this game I would actually go with Cleveland 1st quarter and get it over with instead of for the entire game. The Cavs are the number one team in the NBA in the 1st quarter with a winning percentage of 73% and a +5.0 differential compared to Orlando the 6th in the league in 1st quarters with a winning % of 63% and a differential of +3.7. Getting +1.5 points is a gift when you factor in the advantage of +1.3 for Cleveland coupled with the 1.5 makes for a +2.8 advantage of basically 3 for Cleveland.
