first game of the 2nd round early start and this one can go either way imo. My only worry here is coach Izzo as he always has his players ready to play. 2 units on the spread and 1/2 unit on the ML for me here.

Michigan St. defense is stellar, that's the Big Ten for ya. Valpo is used to being 'physical', but physical to them is Penn St. physical to Mich St. That's why Tom Izzo does so well in the tourney and why Big Ten teams do as well. Defense wins games in March.

Valpo is one of the best shooting teams in the country, its amazing what good defense can do. Valpo can still score points quickly if they can knock down the 3, but they wont get a lot of good looks.

For most part that is true. Vegas always takes a bath on first weekend. I like a few short dogs. Only real big dog ATS line I like is fla gulf coast.
