Lets hope that W&M can avoid there usual choke in the last 5 minutes. They have probably been up in about 6 games this year in the final few minutes and lost every time...

They do it every damn game... Do great on offense till the last 5 minutes, where they just run the shotclock down to 5 and then jack up a low percentage shot...

Davie, horrible bet for those you took NE. Just because it won doesn't make it a good bet. W&M was scoreless for the last 5 minutes and 35 seconds until that last bucket with seconds left.

That might be the dumbest statement right there. The bet is to decided on the final outcome... not on 15 minutes of play. If it was a -20 spread and they only won by 21, would that make a terrible bet too? Spread was -1 and they won by 4, so any way you look at it, they cleared.

IMO, I still think the play was either W&M or no bet. NE has been struggling against the bottom teams in the CAA and had their 3rd road game in 6 days, which is tough for a team with essentially no bench. Credit NE for hitting 12 3s and W&M pulling their usual choke job in the last 5 minutes of the game.

Anyway, congrats to NE bettors

Ha ha at these scrubs with 100 posts coming in to the thread saying how ne was such a easy bet and we all idiots for taking William and Mary . I would make this same bet 10-10 times. Lesson for you guys that think ne was a easy bet, keep taking teams that are backed by 70% of public and RLM against you. You will go broke in a hurry. Especially in college basketball.

Agreed. With WM getting +EV ML, I think they win the game 6 times out of 10. Just one of those games where NE couldn't miss from 3.

On a side note, W&M is a good team to bet to cover for the 1st 10 minutes of the 2nd half and fade the last 10 minutes of the 2nd half.
