Detroit v St. John's

New to this site, but not new to picking NCAAB games. Went 42-31-3 last season. Figured I'd try posting my picks my here and see how well I do.

All plays are 1-Unit unless specified otherwise.

Detroit +4 @ St. Johns


Detroit beat St. John's last year 69-63, albeit at home. However, Detroit has the main core of their team returning (they start two seniors, two juniors, and a sophomore).

St. John's best player, Harrison, was disciplined this week and won't start the game. That's not to say he won't get his burn, but that can really mess with a psyche of a young kid.

With that being said, St. John's has a lot of young talent, but that key word there is young. I like Detroit to beat them with experience, plus McCallum can ball. BOL

I really think the experience of Detroit is going to outplay the young inexperience of St. John's. Looks to be a good game the rest of the way.

Took Detroit 2H +3 (should of grabbed them at 3.5). I haven't watched the game but by looking at the box score it seems like a sloppy game. Both teams shooting in the 30 percentile.

I don't usually bet half lines, but I'd take the over in the 2nd half. I can see it coming down to free throws to push it over 76.
