Sac Line Going Up To +7.5???
Really surprised by this. I saw it opened at Sac +7, and then went down to +6.5 at most books, even with close to 90% on OKC.

I log into my book expecting to see +6.5 or +6, only to see a line of Sac +7.5.

Anyone else seeing this at their book. No matter how high this line goes, public is going to be all over OKC. I think if this line were at OKC -8.5, we'd still see around 70% on OKC.

Any thoughts on this game as well. TNT Thursdays are very unpredictable, which is good for the Kings IMO.

I like SAC +7.5 (also getting this at my book).. Pinny and 5D have the line at +6
I think they'll be up for a big game in front of a home crowd on national TV.
Previous games OKC has won by small margins, so +7.5 is a big help. Last time OKC won by 8pts at home and previously 6pts.

It's going to be rocking in Sacramento. Still one of the toughest places to play in the NBA when the crowd shows up. I'd expect a strong crowd with OKC coming to town on a TNT thursday game. With all the news about the Kings leaving, I think the fans and team will make a statement that they belong in Sacramento.

ah crap, this may be like okc/gs pt 2 with everyone on Sac, just like how everyone was on GS. Really hoping some "OKC -7 lock" threads pop up tomorrow.

But Speedy, if Sac doesn't cover tonight all you have to do is go Utah tomorrow to get your money back. Don't see how you can encounter a loss with that arrangement.

Tonight I'm going Sac with the spread and sprinkling some on the ML

John Ryan also on Sac. He's been hot in NBA this week. I usually tail with good success when he presents interesting trends.

                                    System is 21-4 since 2006
System is 7-1 last 3 years

Play against road teams using the money line after allowing 105 points or more in three straight games facing an opponent after a game where both teams scored 90 points or less.

Why were the Heat favored by the same spread in Milwaukee , and favored by almost the same spread in Golden State earlier in the year when they were cookin ?

And a hundred other examples around the league.

Why was OKC favored by the same spread in Minny and didn't cover. In fact, for the first few weeks of the season OKC had a very difficult time covering most of their games. People were losing bets left and right and down the middle with them. Let's not forget that OKC has been far from very impressive lately. They totally blew in SA 3 games ago, and in their last 3 games gave up 107 points or more in all of them. Their defense has been atrocious for the most part.

OKC is too hot right now, they'll cover against a SAC team that exerted a lot of energy the past 2 games to come back from big halftime deficits.

Now that Sac won, I think OKC comes out a bit more determined tomorrow. Utah no longer looks SO obvious. I still think Utah is probably the right play, but not quite as obvious as it seemed a few hours ago.
