Why do people follow Love The Action over LT Profits?
LT Profits is a professional sports bettor and a professional tout with a long history of winning season after season (huge sample size of bets) and he's rarely lost for a season.

Love The Action registered at SBR on November 8, 2010 so this is only his second NBA season here (much much smaller sample size of bets) and I don't think he's a sports bettor or tout.

Why are people flocking to follow LTA over LT Profits?

Why do people create threads telling people who to tail and who not to?

It's everyone's own money and they can choose to tail LTA, LT, or cumatmebrah...who gives.

New thread everyday, in each of the sub-forums for each sport.

            LT is a good guy.

Cleave. This forum about hot streaks. Like dad you have to get a 10 game streak to get attention and then after like 16 solid winners if you lose one bet all of a sudden your just a lucky poster who was on the high end of variance. If your winning you get tailed. LT prof struggled early on in the season and is catching back up now where LTA did the opposite. Eitherway both are good handicappers and people will tail anyone who sells themselves and has picked winners recently. Specifically why do people tend to pick LTA over LTP.... Probably because he has a full thread logging every play and does writeups. But people here don't give a suit about writeups you can write all you want but I'f your not picking a winner your shit.

No disrespect meant towards Dad LTA or LTP keep up the work guys. Lots of posters here appreciate what you do and don't stop cause of some clowns giving you shit

I was asking a question about something I didn't understand. I'm not telling anyone what to do.

Why not follow both? I have to admit I haven't really followed Profit's NBA thread or picks but in NCAAB he is a monster, he consistently nails small conference games. If I followed him more, instead of always wanting to bet whatever game is on ESPN I would probably be way up. LTA is great as well, been following him over a year now, class act, wins graciously and has mastered ignoring negativity. Any of his plays higher then 1X is usually an auto bet for me.

Absolutely but I couldn't understand this issue, that's all.

Recently everyday LTA's thread is full of people moaning about losing but no one EVER complains in LT Profit's threads. Never, ever, that's pretty incredible under the circumstances don't you think?

I was looking for an answer to this difficult question.

It's two things mainly I guess: 1. Sheep mentality (People follow the hot hand) 2. Marketing (LTA is a marketing genius, no doubt and LT Profits doesn't try to market his plays)

I've never looked at LT Profits picks. Does he mainly pick spreads or totals? Every now and then I check in on LTA's threads to see which way he is leaning. LTA doesn't have the most jaw-dropping record, but he is up overall on the year, and he is a very SMART capper. He understands that capping isn't a sprint, but rather a marathon. And he has some damn nice write ups.

I respect anyone that puts their picks out there day in and day out and keeps an honest record. Both of them use a 1 unit base which is the only way to evaluate a capper on fair ground. I can only speak for myself, and I follow LTA's thread because he is accessible. He lets you behind the curtain as to his reasoning and the tools he uses to reach his conclusions. The majority of us recreational gamblers bet from our gut, use poor money management, and get duped by the books often. In my year and a half following LTA's threads I have learned a ton and it has reflected in my pockets. Does that mean I follow all his picks blindly, no, but I probably should have . Also, as mentioned above, his threads don't turn into pissing matches. I encourage the recreational gambler to take advantage of LTA's willingness to share, even if you don't tail him you will learn something.

Amen. I also think 9 units up in the NBA at this stage is pretty damn good personally. If he were the type that all plays were X3 it would be like 27 and everyone would be like . I just never understood the x3, x5, x10 bettors when they never make a x1 play ......just don't make sense (not saying they have bad intentions).
