Looked Like Heat Were Trying To Lose To The Clippers
Ive never been one to call rigged, but last night after seeing so much clueless things from the Heat seems something was up. The missed free throws, the fouls when they absolutely didnt need to. Am I the only one that was thinking this while watching? I knew Bron was gonna foul Billups after seeing so much, I knew he'd miss at least one free throw every trip down, he missed so many layups also. Just looked so fishy.

Be careful Bernie -- a lot of posters here think every game and every play is on the level.

I had no bet on this game (almost took the Clips but didn't), but similar thoughts crossed my mind. I was waiting for the ref to get knocked out by a steel chair.

Yea I think some people are very quick to judge 'bad basketball' as fixing. Many fishy things go on in the NBA and other sports, but way more often than not, such 'bad beats' or 'weird losses' are results of just poor sports rather than 'match-fixing' type issues.

i.e. Last night's game, people are so convinced LeBron is 'clutch' and all that, and that he shouldve definitely won the game. But it was very apparent it was just a poor display by him and a few others, thats all. I dont think things like this should go as far being called 'rigged' etc.

Lebron simply has no 4th quarter.

I was thinking that getting the under in the game was more important to them then winning the game. They wanted both though imho. I knew they were gonna mis some of the free throws before they shot too, that could be point shaving. But, furthermore, they turned the game into a slow, half-court game. It was the slowest I've ever seen them play. Very few fast breaks and when they got fast breaks, they mostly missed. That's my two cents.

I think one of these days, we're going to see LeBron's head explode in the fourth quarter.

I was on the Heat I think it was bad officiating to both sides. Thought Jordan shoulda been called for goaltending late in the game though.

Heat played a shitty game, we move on.
