Heat/Pacers under (199) 2.5x (Locked)

Leaving for work, no time for a writeup. I have this game set at 194 and the msjority of all bets will be on the over. However, I expect sharp money to keep this total below 200 and I think 199 is a great number. Miami was not forced to play its starters for more than 30 minutes last night and defense will be key. Indy knows they can't beat the heat in a shootout and I expect them to slow the pace and control the ball. Both teams are top ten defensively in DEFF and in the paint. In the last game earlier in the year, this total closed at 197 and went way over, yet the books are not really making an adjustment for the over here. If we get favorable ref assignments, I may add to this play. I have this game set at 194 which is nice value for a game that I expect most to like the over. Based on the foregoing, I am jumping on this now for 2.5x on the under now and may add more later. Good luck.

Hawks/Lakers under (178) 2.5x (Locked)

I have this game set at 174.5 as these defenses match up well with the opposing offenses and both should play a slow pace. Will try to get you a detailed writeup before the game, but I am expecting a slow paced, half-court battle. Based on the foregoing, I am rolling with the under for 2.5x. Good luck.

Jazz/Thunder over (200) 1x (Locked)

The jass rested their starters last night in that poor performance against the hornets. I expect a bounceback performance from utah tonight as they are highly motivated after losing to okc last week. Both teams are excellent offensively in the paint and in transition, which are both weaknesses of the respective defenses. I expect a fast pace with both teams giving max effort which results in a high scoring game. I have this game set at 204 giving us some nice value. Based on the foregoing, I am rolling with the over for 1x. Good luck.

Added 0.50x to Plays #1 & #2 for total of 2.5x on each. Correct units denoted above.

Relax guys. As the guy above pointed out, the books expected a high scoring first half and low scoring 2h. There is no way Miami shoots 63% in the 2h, like they did in the 1h. Perhaps a 2h under play is also interesting for those who play halves.

Yeah, I like Utah. The books are overvaluing OKC because of the fatigue angle. However, I don't think Utah will be tired because their starters rested last night. Plus, they are such an ugly pick that they must be right.

I am just going to stick with the over though. I like that a little better tonight because you can't trust Utah on the road to contain anyone on defense.

Because of Valentines, college exams (studying hard) and that its now my b-day (15th), I wasn't able to lock any plays tonight unless yours and other that I tailed. I really loved both Utah and Toronto last night... i'm already breaking my head for not taking th Raps. Dont want to be in the same spot with the Jazz.

I was eying an under play for heat/pacer 1st. It closed at 103, I laid off

The pacers are 1/10 from 3pt land and shooting at 34%. The Heat are at 60%. I think the Heat will cool off and the Pacers will start making some threes. The figure that must drop is the FT's. 31 already and its only HT. The refs need to swallow the whistles.

I agree. I don't know what Indy was doing. That was one pathetic half of basketball. As Alamo mentioned, they played right into Miami's hands with the fast pace. That is so stupid. They needed to slow it down right from the start and play physical basketball.

Hopefully, we get a nice low scoring 4th quarter to cover the under. Might add a little more to the Lakers under and also lean to the over between Denver and Phoenix...I don't like the ref assignments and Phoenix really sucks so probably will pass. Back later....

They are doing the same dumb thing they did against Denver... which actually gave some really nice profit. Still, thought they would know better by now.

This really means nothing and took no time to do, but I ended up taking the Over of the Heat game because everytime the O/U was 195 or above for Indiana they got the Over. It's pretty heavy science
