Yes...nice catch. I was actually thinking of vargas when I mentioned the lefty stats. My apologies for that typo. However, the play remains solid. Fister has only pitched in one game out of ten starts that resulted in more than a 7 run final total. With the nats only hitting .240 off righties, I like that trend to continue. 70% on the under and the line went from 7.5 to 8 thats a no play for me i dont trust either team to go either way , i played the detroit over so gl to us.

But you fail to recognize that the total opened at 8, then went down to 7.5, before going back up to 8. Anyway, this play for me is based more on baseball factors than line movement. After all, we cannot base our plays on line movement alone. Good luck.

It's going to be a close one in these WNBA games... they are both hovering around our numbers to cash. Although, the Pho/SA scares me. They play such a fast pace...usually after a big over like these two teams just had, the under is a solid play. However, in this case, perhaps we should have bucked that situational trend...

I really like this play as evidenced by the 2.5x stake. Both Pavano and Baumgarner are a combined 6-0 in favor of the under in their last three starts with WHIPs under 1.10 and ERA's under 2. Although solid situational hitting teams, neither the Twins nor Giants offer great offenses. Although Twins are better of late, they are hitting .222 against lefties in their last ten games. On the other side, the Giants struggle against righties hitting a miniscule .202 in their last ten games. Based on those stats and some solid line movement which saw the total come off the key number of 7, I am rolling with the under here. Good luck.

So I'm still up on the day with a big 3x play on the Twins under and 1x play on the Dodgers over.

We should have cashed the Nationals under if not for a miracle Zimmerman grand slam in the bottom of the ninth inning. Come on, that was a good call that got burned by a bad beat -- nothing you can do about it and you just need to move onto the next one.

I can't believe you actually wrote that you were in doubt regarding the NY/LA game about 3 minutes into it. It's now in the late first quarter and they are scoring at a nice pace. If you are going to be a successful sports investor, you need to not get so emotional. Moreover, you need to be positive. I prefer positivity in my thread so if you are going to contribute -- which I completely encourage -- I would respectfully request that you contribute in a positive manner and bring substance or positivity. So true. What the heck happened to Baumgarner? Nothing you can do but laugh. Possible great day turned into one where I'm hoping for a 3x loss. In a way I love it because it just means some of these bad breaks that occurred today will come back to our benefit tomorrow or the next day or the day after that.

If I were short-term oriented, I would probably be bashing my head against the wall. However, I'm playing with house money, I have been for a long time and I am very confident that will never change. Oh well, I'm done for the night. Going to relax with the fam, enjoy some late dinner and chill. I'll get up early to look at tomorrow's games and we'll get today's losses back and then some. No worries man. We'll end up having a profitable week, just like we did 8 out of the last 9 weeks before this one. I've only had two months months where I was not profitable since I started full time in October of 2010 and both of those months can be attributed to when I encountered a bad streak of NFL losses. Freakin NFL...so unpredictable and so much harder to cap because they only play once a week. At least in NCAAF, you can depend on some good totals trends with certain teams, conferences, etc....

We had a nice day in WNBA going 3 - 2 = +2.5x

However, those profits were washed out by a tough day on the bases because of some crazy bad beats on high staked plays in MLB. We lose the Natties under because of a grand slam in the bottom of the 9th and we lose the big Twins under after they score 8 runs in the first off Baumgarner but no more runs by either team the rest of the way. Unreal.

No WNBA tomorrow so we will bounce back on the bases like we always do. Good luck.

MLB 6/22/11

Astros ML (+185) 1x (Locked)
Myers has a WHIP under 1 in his last three games. Lewis has an ERA over 10 in his last three games. If Houston can steal this one, it would be this one. I'm rolling with the vet Myers at an awesome price in a regional rivalry game where the Stros are trying to avoid the sweep. I think they get it done today.

Seattle/Washington under (7.5) 2x (Locked)
Bedard v. Lannan in a battle of two of the hottest lefties in baseball. I really like this play. We should have cashed the under in this series yesterday, if not for a miracle single off the pitchers leg to extend the bottom of the ninth and the grand slam that followed. I expect much less offensive firepower in this game as the lefties look to cut off some the left handed power on these teams. Both teams hit lefties poorly and the ump has a slight under lean. By gametime, I expect the public percentages to even out a bit and the split to be closer to 50/50. I may add to this play later.

Reds ML (-106) 1x (Locked) (1st Game of Double-Header)
Leake has pitched great recently and I'm never sold on sweaty-Freddie for the Yanks despite his relatively good start to the season. I think the Reds bats awake in this early game and the Reds win this one late in the game. We are getting a pretty good price here for the Reds at home.
