It's the only way to go on this game. The Lakers have shown ZERO ability to contain the Mavs and even if a couple individual players will play for their pride, the net result will not be enough to overcome a Dallas team that's playing their best ball of the season. I also have exact series bets for 4-1, 4-2, 4-3 (I thought a sweep was completely out of the question before) so a bet on Dallas is also a partial hedge for me. The Mavs will finish the Lakers off tomorrow.

edit: I misread that post. I don't like the Over as much for Game 4 as the Mavs will be in lockdown mode tomorrow. 48 minutes of smothering defense.

Yeah, it was an elbow. Honestly, it sounds awful and he's definitely favouring it a little but I'm confident that he'll be ready to go for the next game with little to no effects. The fact that he made it back onto the floor today means Rivers is not concerned. Good enough for me.

After Boston today I definitely like the Lakers tomorrow. Artest will be back, and with their Veteran Pride on the line I expect a very good showing from the organization. Do it for Phil. Phil will win at least one more playoff game. Chances are he retires as said. I also believe the Head Office will finally smile down upon the Lakers. It's in their best interests to send the Series back to LA. Now, the Lakers will have to still play to the best of their abilities. Dallas will strive to win it for the home crowd. But I think LA may take the next 2 and send it back to Dallas where Dallas wins in 6. One last gasp. To Live and Die in LA. Which is a great movie if you haven't seen it yet, rent it. yeah, trust me, I'm struggling with going even deeper, but probably
will just keep that. Maybe a prop.
What's holding me down is the Bruins series, like them over Tampa Bay

Well that was a tough game to lose. Overtime.
Rather than review the particulars, I'll just say that I
was not pleased with Doc Rivers rotations. I wanted to
see at least 3 bench players involved who never got minutes
even though it was apparent he was running some starters
into the ground and they needed a breather. Anyway
that lost sent me from +3013 to +1313 playoffs.
