btw every bet is to win $100 unless stated otherwise.
So Indy was $120 to win $100.

wow refs are giving Chicago the game here
that was not a foul, Rose got a plus+1 on that, should not have
then when Indy was getting hacked, no call.
what a joke

well that sucked, just missed the Over..
Philly is so unreliable.. they are reliably unreliable in every way.
ok so, 1-1
going with Dallas -5 and
adding Orlando -8 (-120).
I don't think they will have any problems with Atlanta tonight.
Orlando can rain 3's and defend the interior.
They are too tough and well-coached for Atlanta to hang for long.

thinking about all home favorites today. just not there yet.
feels too square.
keepin track of the $ here..juice counts..
won $200, lost $230. (-$30)

well yesterday went bad.. lost OKC by 1 point, lost the huge teaser for $500
because Lakers played dead. totals now ($-756).
Taking the Red Sox here at 11am - they have a history of winning these games (6 of last 7)
at 11am, Boston Marathon is today. Only morning game of the year. At -127 I like it.
Just have to hope Matsuzaka is ok.
Going $381/300 Red Sox (-127)

I want to take it too Snow -- I'm hesitant because I got buried last year with Lackey on Pats Day.

Chicago laying 12 again. well well well
they didn't learn. the Bulls would have lost that game without the refs on their side.
I think this is a game worth laying some dough on.
I bought a couple points just in case.. I want to make sure I get the win. So I just laid (-160) on Pacers +14.. didn't see a reason to tie in Miami or 76ers.
76ers are too unpredicatable. Pacers should keep this within 14. One more extra
point to +15 would be far too expensive at -200.
$800/500 Indiana Pacers +14
btw I also have Montreal Canadiens -300 for series, up 2-0 here
starting the homestand.. but this thread isn't about series plays.

Indiana continued to impress last night, so I'm at (+$44) now.
Concerning tonight's NBA, I believe that Celtics ML is very safe.
Toney Douglas is a serviceable replacement for Billups, and Anthony Carter
is a pretty good vet to have as the bench PG, but we are talking about point guard here
which conducts the offense, and there could be some confusion in the Knick starting group,
possibly even in the Knick bench, as you will have Douglas starting and Anthony with the
bench (who usually play with Douglas). Moreover, Douglas is not the same shooting threat
that Billups is. This will make it easier for Boston to guard Melo when he attempts to isolate
and Amare when he charges the middle. I expect the Knicks to look choppy and confused
at times which should lead to turnover opportunities for Boston. I also expect to see a more
effective night for Rondo without Billups smart defensive play. Douglas is not as smart as Billups.
Rondo had problems with Turiaf, and I think we will see him avoid Turiaf like the plague.
Jermaine O'Neal will come up big this game on both ends of the court.
At first, seeing Bennett Salvatore and Joey Crawford made me think twice, but the C's and
Doc also know these refs very well and how to work with/around them (adjust).
Adding Boston 1Q here for the surprise factor, possible Knicks early offensive weakness.
About the Atlanta/Orlando matchup, Orlando will be focusing on defense, they cannot
allow Atlanta to shoot over 50% on jumpers again. Atlanta still has options though, and may
be more aggressive in the paint early on, knowing the Orlando game plan, and we could see
Howard in early foul trouble.
I know you can't take away Dwight Howard, but the Hawks have a nice size advantage
over the rest of the Magic, this is why they have been shooting so well. Orlando just is
not the same team they were, the trades they made this year were ill-advised.
Once again there seems to be repetition in spreads from 1st home game to 2nd, as there
was with Chicago, Miami and LA. 2nd game spreads mirroring 1st game spreads regardless
of game results. So we have an opportunity to take Atlanta with a very generous +9.5
that I can't pass up on. We're seeing something from the Hawks which appears to be at
a higher level than the regular season. I think they can take this series and even beat Chicago
in the next if this indeed is the way they are going to command themselves.
With Portland/Dallas, a lot will hinge on the officiating for me to decide this low line.
Basically a pickem game, Portland will need fairness in the calls, after the fine for McMillan's comments
in order to keep this close. Dallas should win, as they are desperate to prove they are tough
especially after losing their 2nd home game in the playoffs last year to San Antonio.
But Portland is not the 2010 Spurs.
I feel more confident in Dallas abilities and experience than in Portland's.
I was tempted to tease Portland up but actually believe it is possible Dallas could come up huge in this game and rout them by DD.
$600/200 Boston (-300)
$240/200 Boston -6 (-120)
$110/100 1st Quarter Boston -2 (-110)
$240/200 Atlanta +10 (-120)
$240/200 Dallas -3 (-120)
$100/180 4pt teaser Boston -2.5, Atlanta +13.5, Dallas +0.5
