I really like the Spurs tonight with Manu Ginobili returning to play.
Spurs actually played well in the last game, coach Pop is not upset over anything.
It was only close because the Spurs were limited in scoring options. Parker will
be more difficult to guard tonight as the Grizzlies worry about Manu.
The line at -8.5 does not appear to be softening. Although I consider it very possible
for the Spurs to cover 8.5, I'm not comfortable laying that number, and the ML
is too deep down to bet alone.
Denver/OKC: Although I was dissapointed in OKC's play especially on the defensive end in the first game, and their slow ineffective first half, the offense did pick up significantly to finish the game. I can see some of that spilling over tonight from tipoff, and like OKC in the early quarter. Aaron Affalo out for Denver, a guy who can score. Nene has a bum knee but will play. He could have difficulties around the rim on both ends, especially with an enforcer like Perkins to contend with.
I like the way Perkins is playing, Ibaka, Westbrook, Durant will get theirs, OKC should score a ton of points tonight.
Hornets at LA, Fisher is having big problems guarding Paul, backup PG Blake is faster of course but is also just returning from a bout of chicken pox. May not be 100%. The Lakers size is not helping them stop the Hornets small ball. They surely do not deserve to be favored by 11.5. Still, if everything goes right for them, of course they are the Lakers and could cover, but I don't think they are capable of winning by deep DD.
Line is moving on OKC as I'm betting.

my initial lean was def heat, my rationale for backing off was production from 76ers in game 2;thinking they should play better at home.
after thinking about it some more, looking back at 76ers recent home record and record vs above .500 teams in the 2nd half of the season, going by 'they should' improve in pts next game won't guarantee a win.
i mean who are the 76ers? a team w/ a good coach that did play well to get here but then you realize its a bunch of avg players getting it done. unless you really follow the team who can you really name aside from iggy and brand. iggy is also producing nothing so far and is due.. but who knows; so this lean alone sucks too.

Bosh, LeBron statements are very self-assured about what they intend to do tonight.
This game is more important than the next one. It is the game that shuts down the
76ers willpower to compete for this series. Bosh has found his role, he's had double-doubles
in both outings this series, and Bosh is the key for Miami.
In regards to the Pacers, I just need them to score enough to help with the Over.
I capped this game tonight going over 200 pts, and at 189 I had to take it.
