I think the Lakers find a way to make this deal happen, it might take 3 or 4 1st round draft picks + a couple players. But after back to back losses to the Bobcats and Cavs I think they should feel like they have to pull off a deal of this magnitude if they want to resolidify themselves as the favorite.

I really don't see how adding Melo would help the Lakers. They can't trade more than two first rounders, and subtracting Bynum doesn't help their D. Melo worsens their D even worse, and having two guys who like to iso won't work too well.Comment -

Infact, the Box of Chocolates have been so picky that expiring deals were not good enough for them, they wanted INSTANT savings so the trade partners had to look for other teams to get involved to either offer trade exceptions or take on more salary from Denver.
