He is mainly there for his superior play on defense but he can hit those shots from the perimeter. His problem is he makes a lot of mental mistakes which transfers into bad plays on the court.

Kurt Thomas actually not as bad as most people think.. hits the occassional jumper. I like Joel Anthony, or Andris Biedrins to take the crown. Lots of candidates though

Kurt Thomas has a decent jump shot when left wide open, he drains them regularly from around and just beyond the FT line

If Joel Anthony was forced to shoot he wouldn't know which basket to shoot at, and then probably try and block his own shot

Artest isn't there for offense. Yes he doesn't look too good with the ball. He is a defensive specialist. Last year he hit the biggest shot of the playoffs for LA in game 5 versus the suns cause no one covered him( his bad rap helped). Same story with how fish sucks as well every year meanwhile he makes clutch shot after clutch shot every year.

always thought artest sucked cuz he was old as shit but hes 31 >.<
